Well any character that had a Cau 8 on it would now have around 9 million on it, in addition to whatever it had before.

It was all automatic. Everyone's upgrades were removed and the money added (adjusted for the new value, ofc)

They refunded it by around 9 million, which is 100 times less than the old buying price. Still, it doesn't matter as every value is now 100 times less.
