Have tried for weeks. Gave up and installed Monkey Universe with no problem. Now one last try...
I have a new Freelancer installed, after old one uninstalled. New FLMM installed. Downloaded 4.84 but FLMM bombs it. Same for 4.85 Betas. Can't get past FLMM.
First error message is: Program Files (86)/FLMM/mods/Discovery/4854Beta/DLLS/BIN/content.dll denied.
Would sure appreciate some help.

Are you using FLMM v1.3? This is what works best according to everyone around here.

Ok, first things to try:
Run FLMM as an Admin, this may solve the program. (I'm assuming you have Vista here)
Right click on your C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Freelancer folder, and uncheck Read only.
Try then.
