"Fratricide": An LSF Agent - HonourWolf - 10-09-2023

Name: "Hans Schwimmer" (Real Name: Aeven Rizan)
Codename: Fratricide
Born: 800 AS
Qualifications: Infiltration and Evasion, Combat Flight School, Intermediate Flight and Maneuvers

As an orphan of the Manhattan streets, Aeven Rizan often spent his time near the spaceports, trying to get the attention of various pilots, doing small little favours for them. A coffee run here, parcel run there, he was always happy to help pilots out after their patrols and long journeys in defence and aid of Liberty.

One day whilst loitering around the spaceport, he heard what seemed like whispers down an alleyway. Curiosity got the better of him despite his experience informing him against such an action.

"Heard a shipment of preem food's coming down in about 2 hours. Probably worth a shot to shadow where it's gonna go and do a fast hit and run."

Whilst hiding behind a trash can listening to the conversation, he was suddenly yanked from the back.

"Kid, ain't a good thing to eavesdrop, don't you think? Parent's didn't teach you that?"

"I ain't got no parents!", Aeven barked back.

"Well... Then maybe you'll get a chance to find them." The disheveled man brandishing a knife.

A gunshot resounded from above, surprising Aeven as he jolted backwards, crashing straight into the trash can he was holed up at moments before.

"Fuck! It's the cops! We out! Benny's probably dead anyway!" as the would-be bandits raced out.

A tall lanky man, secures a rope and rappels down the walls of the alleyway.

Aeven still under the effects of that adrenaline rush, rolls towards the dead man, and grabs his knife.

"Woah kid, it's all cool. We cool? Now let's put down the knife and take a break, yeah?"

He eyes him up and down and sees the iconic uniform of the Liberty Navy. Drops the knife and breaks down crying.

"Ah... I'm bad with kids... Look, hey. I've seen you around many times, don't you got school? Places to be? Friends to play with?"

"N... no. I ain't got the money for school. I just like being around the spaceport."

"Alright kid, come with me. Maybe we'll get you somewhere in life just yet."

Aeven was then moved into an orphanage, got an education. Had a life to look forward to and wanted to repay his benefactor as well and even though he never learned the name of the soldier that brought him out of his destitute lifestyle, he was sure he could do so by joining up with the Navy.

With above-average performance in the academy and an even lower assessment on his leadership skills, Aeven thought he was bound to be stuck in his climb up the Navy. But his training officers saw in him something that not many cadets had: The ability to make the correct decisions with imperfect or even false information. Toeing the line between right and wrong, he was still able to complete objectives that were set out for him.

He was soon instated into the Liberty Security Force in light of his skillset.

Somewhere along the way he was sent to Rheinland to infiltrate and check up on the movements and strategic decisions of the Rheinland Military.

In Rheinland, he flew amongst the many different factions, taking jobs here and there, balancing himself between a lawful and unlawful citizen. Even had a few close calls after having entered a jump hole he heard rumours about that brought him into Thuringia, both with the MND and what seemed like... infected Rheinlanders?

His ship of choice there was an Odin Mk1, and whilst it was given a few weird looks from the lawful elements of Rheinland, he was more or less ignored as long as the jobs he was doing was for them.

Not long after, intercepted comms of a Freelancer flying around Thuringia was picked up by the LSF, knowing that an extended stay in Rheinland would compromise this agent, he was recalled back to Chadwick Station.

On the journey back to Chadwick Station, Hans Schwimmer was intercepted by members of the 1st Armada, both of which had stopped him due to the ship he was flying. Multiple attempts at telling the 1st Armada to check in with the LSF about him being an undercover agent had failed and a fight for his life soon started. A couple of jousts happened and only Hans remained, hurriedly radioing in a rescue ship as well as making his way back to Chadwick where he'd park his ship.

After landing, he rushed to give a report about what happened and was simply replied with a chuckle and a new codename to be used as he was stationed back in Liberty space: "Fratricide"
