People of Rheinland,
Today, we stand united in the aftermath of a significant victory for our House. Our brave soldiers, led by the Strausberg Battlegroup, faced adversity in Dresden. Their strategic brilliance and unyielding spirit allowed us to defeat the Red Hessians and secure peace for our people. The calls were made by the Kaiser for this bold attack, but it was you - the people of Rheinland, who had to make this all possible. The Kaiser is a symbol of Rheinland, a shining beacon we all look up to, but it is the democratically elected direct representatives of you, the people of Rheinland, who hold the executive power over Rheinland, our economy, planets and cities. They have decided to hear the Kaiser's call for this bold and ultimately victorious move.
The fighting was fierce, but in the end, the People of Rheinland came out with a resounding victory. All known Hessian bases in Dresden were annihilated. After their absolute defeat in Koln, this was the final blow to their powers. But that wasn't all, their last remaining known battlegroup, the Kassel, was completely annihilated as the ship's reactor failed when they bit off more than they could chew when they assaulted our Battlegroup Strausberg.
This move by the People, Emperor and Rheinland didn't come without a cost - Strausberg itself had to be abandoned and scuttled after the cowardly suicidal attack of Kassel, but that was a small price to pay. In fact, the might of Rheinland is so impenetrable that even after the loss of Strausberg the Rheinwehr Oberkommando has seen that we have so much power we wouldn't be able to even use it all in this unprecedented time of victorious peace. We have no direct enemies, and nobody can face Rheinland in the open - due to this, we have decided to lay to rest the decorated and mighty Battleship Kolleda as we look towards a new, peacetime chapter in Rheinland proper as we move to smaller-scale operations in the independent worlds.
Direct Corsair threat gone
Over many years we have used the Munich-Omicron Xi connection to pummel the Corsairs directly. While almost eliminating them altogether in the system before having to tend to the Kusari conflict, we have returned with a vengeance, conducting many operations and thinning their direct assault capabilities. Munich and Omicron Xi have since collapsed, the direct connection has closed and the Corsairs are no longer a direct threat to Rheinland. They seemed to have realised the fact and begun to focus on Bretonia and Dublin instead.
The Future of the Rheinwehr
Hessians are an afterthought, the Corsairs are no direct threat, peace reigns between us and all other houses, Rheinland is unified, in the good hands of its people, their democratically elected representatives and the Kaiser unifying us as the symbol of Rheinland's strength and tradition. Large-scale conventional warfare will not be what will be needed in the near future. With the dismantling of Kolleda, we will re-focus on smaller-scale operations next to our borders. The name of the game will be working with Rheinland's corporations, in the name of resource security and acquisition for the people of Rheinland. With complete military victory within our borders, we must now focus on our economic security. Independence from foreign monopolies is what will bolster our security now. All people of Rheinland, united, should seek for our national corporations and people to prosper. Although they helped us greatly, corporations such as GMG, Synth Foods and Ageira have achieved near-monopolies in their respective fields, and the Rheinwehr will do what we can to make our domestic corporations have a competitive chance by securing their mining and resource-acquiring operations in border worlds in the Omegas and the Sigmas and securing their trading partnerships with alternative partners.

We have achieved, united, in a few years an unprecedented peace that neither the absolute Monarchy nor the Bundesrepublik could in hundreds of years, under the protection of the unified Rheinwehr. Now is the time to rebuild, to even increase the bond between our people, to move into an era of economic prosperity unseen since the start of the 80-year war. And the Rheinwehr will be here, standing tall alongside you, the People of Rheinland!
