my name is Finnean MacRory and I'm leader of Irregulars. We're a small-ish group of entrepreneurial traders and we're currently trying to expand our business network into the farther reaches of sirius. The reason I'm contacting you is twofold. Firest, there is our interest in resources produced in your corner of sirius, mainly Iridium, but potentialy other resources as well, provided you're willing to sell and we find buyers for them. Do you think we could negotiate some trade deal or extended contract for the purchase of Iridium?

As for the second reason, I would like to offer our services. We specialise in procuring and delivery of 'localy defficient resources' or, in laymen terms, if there's something you need but can't obtain on your own due to it's origin, it's seller's dislike of you or any other reason, you'll tell us and we get it for you.

Mr Macrory,

As you will be aware all Core operatives within the Omicron region, are bound by the Codex of Omicronia, and this codex states that we will protect our brothers and allies within the omicron regions.

Now, as you have communicated with us about delivering some wares, I am wondering how an organisation like ourselves would be interested in such things.
Well, let me just point out that myself and my men have in the past had a little craving for Liberty Ale, no less. Now to put it bluntly Mr Macrory, deliver some of this Liberty Ale to myself and my men and we may negotiate something, but until then, I am afraid that will not be happening.

You see, you need to provide us with something to encourage us to negaotiate and also, we need to make sure that your organisation, is how would you put it, who they say they are.

OHHHH, and another thing, I would hope that you are not one of these vagabond type operations who would stab the Core in the back and deliver goods to our enemies.
That would be something that we would not tolerate in any way.

I suggest if you want to negotiate further then you will obviously return my communication, to find out where you will deliver your little gift to us, and also make it a substantial haul, then we can consider maybe giving you some work to do on the side.

I fully understand your need for caution, as Omicrons are dangerous space. Shipement of Liberty Ale can certainly be arranged, though I have to admit I fail to see why people like it, it's mediocre at best, though I guess different people have different tastes. Speaking of tastes, would you mind if include a small samples of other drinks from around sirius in the shipement too?

Regarding your enemies... as long as being extorded for money or cargo by them doesn't count as supplying them I, have no issues with such conditions. The reason why I reached to you specificaly out of all the entities present in Omicrons is the fact you seem to be the most pragmatic and streightforward ones. The Order is a little too zealous for my tastes and Corsairs a bit too egoistic.

Mr Macrory,

A shipment of Liberty Ale will be all we will need, and I would like it delivered to the secure loading section on Planet Nauru, where most of our operatives will be based for the next few weeks.

We could arrange a small escort on your arrival in Delta if you require such a thing, so I am sure I can make that possible. Once delivered we will make arrangements to discuss your arrangement over a few Ales, and contemplate the offer after we have sampled ALL of the Ale.

Always be aware in the Omicrons, regarding Nomad activity, and also those hungry Corsairs, that cause so much distress to other transport pilots.

Im sure one day we could meet in person, but that will be after you have proved your worth to the Core.

Well, I hoped this wouldn't be the case, but I'd lie if I said I'm surprised. It's been several days since I delivered the Liberty Ale you people requested and there's still no reply to my question, not even an acknowladgement of the delivery. I guess I've just been used to deliver a free beer, eh? Hope you at least had a good laugh on my account. I think I should've expected this, given the reputation your organisation has, but I really wanted to approach this with an open mind. Serves me right for not listening to my gut.

But I got the memo, we'll take our business elswhere. I'll leave this channel open for a while in case someone actually has enough common courtesy to at least decline our request instead of ignoring us.
