You may be surprised by my methods of dealing with Corsairs, but we have no other choice and answer to their threat, one way or another, as those men are in respect only of powers, not hospitality, morality or equal partnership methods. Delta Mining Corp. was just about to fall the same way as the Nine, but with respect to the Order power they ran away like rats.

I have no other choice but to sacrifice the most important asset of our organization - the people. The sooner or later Corsair warmongering hunger would extend to other Zoner installations surrounding Omicron Gamma and put the coin by the edge, where we would fight with them not just for Freeport that we have lost, but as existential threat. And it would be too late.

We can no longer tolerate their methods, their behaviour toward us. It’s now or never we shall respond in the same way and take back what belongs to us.

I understand you have… Some sort of partnership with the Corsairs. I don’t want you to endanger yourselves in the local strife, you are on the perimeter of humanity's shield against the Nomad threat and in everybody’s interest that heroes like William Strogen and others didn’t die for a bloody massacre in the Theta, aliens could use your distraction.

I merely want to explain our reasons behind the hatred that boils in our blood. But even with a cold mind we have no other choice but to strike back. The status quo has changed greatly and not in our favour. Will you spare a force to enhance our strike wing? I’ll leave it to you to decide.

I knew you for long enough Burton. I am not going to ask ‘why’. I am going to ask ‘what took you so long’. Your assessment about Corsairs isn’t too far from the truth: Violence is a virtue amongst their people. I did my part defending your installation from their demands. So long that The Order is there, they should leave it alone. However as you had guessed correctly we are not exactly in position to aid you right now. Between Mu and Gamma there is still a disgusting number of Nomads, Core and other filth that won’t kill themselves fast enough to my liking.

Between us and the Corsairs, we’ve found we each have bigger concerns than any potential disputes we may have had in the past and act accordingly. We will hold the line here in the deeper Edge Worlds. Know however that you’re welcome on Akabat regardless of the outcome for it is our word thar rules there, not Cretan.

For the love of whatever thing you hold dear, do not repeat mistakes of the previous Zoner militias and try to grind them down with Juggernaughts. Entire Omicrons be our witness, it has never worked.
