Bug: Core BC Wireframe is too small ==================== Reproduction Steps: n/a Core BC has too small of a wireframe to use component subtargetting [snip] RE: [Ship Stats? Art?] Core BC Wireframe is too small - Haste - 10-22-2023 Unfortunately I wouldn't know how to fix it. A known cause for this is large shield models/hitboxes being used in the ship's shield_link pushing the wireframe "camera" further away. This is why all Battlecruiser shield_links use the liberty elite (defender) shield hitbox as a default (which is then overridden of course). I'm not aware of any way to address this problem that doesn't involve remodeling the ship. I do recommend setting keybinds for subtargeting. In particular, the "target previous" key should immediately select the ship's front from a fresh selection, followed by the shield and engines in that order. Pressing "next" gets you back to a ship center dummy to prevent players from needing to retarget. |
