DSAce.log outdated - Jean Paul Richter - 10-28-2023
Hey Admins I have a problem.
My DSAce.log in not up to date, I have no trace of anything I wrote in chat after basically 2020.
How do I fix that?

In the launcher, check in the "External Settings" tab that you have "Chat Log" and "Append Log" enabled.

Can you actually download all your chat log history like if it was stored somewhere and ready to be uploaded to your Documents?
I'm confused. But that would be actually good.

I cant do basically anything, I was going to post my 2 kills of this evening since I didn't get a screenshots in time, cuz of people massively RP-ing....And then I saw that
Only thing that came into my mind is to ask what to do actually. Since its file linked to a launcher, wouldn't the game create a new one if I delete the old one?

Do you by any chance have multiple Discovery installs ? Is it possible the "right" DSAce is in some other folder? Have you tried searching your PC for DSAce.log ?

The only install I have is the version 4.91, my PC is tracking it down just like that. Launcher upgraded it to 5.0 or whatever is current one, but still files from 4.91 were updated as last modified when 5.0 came out... everything is working fine. both game, launcher, server and chars, the only thing not getting updated is DSAce.
I have no clue to be honest
