Question, Is there a way that Dev's etc can make it where a base can by default list all the base operational Commodities be listed on the first shop page. sure would make base operations a lot easier and the most used Items listed First?

That is a nice Option I use that all the time. it is just so fustrating having to look threw 3-4+ pages trying to find your Base needed Items, cause you missed seeing them and have to figure what page is it even on?. and each Item is in a different place on each base, would be so great to have them up top on the first page
That and have a way you can send all your base inventory to your chat log, so you can see and maintain all your base inventory offline from your chat log

Would recommend just using /base supplies, yes. It is technically doable to do this, but would cause a lot of technical headache

Base supplies alone just want keep up with base inventory visual needs, the other thing might be to add the other needed Base commodities to the /base supplies command or have base supplies 1, 2 and 3 etc, each option would add more info
This would cut down on all the time needed with looking threw all the base Items trying to find the item's your low on.
Maybe something like this?

Crew: 550 onboard
Crew supplies:
| Oxygen: 7750/15400
| Water: 0/30000
| Food: 7750/8400
Repair materials:
| Basic Alloy: 12816/60200
| Robotics: 3679/20000
| Hull Panels: 648/100000

You can also find commodities using
/shop filter substring
which will only show the lines that include the substring.
