Admiral Dylan Brandt is a legendary figure of the Liberty Navy. The symbol of the unification of the house, of the immense sacrifices Liberty Navy expended to take down the oppressive military junta, the Insurgency. Statues of the Admiral and the fallen heroes who protected and unified our house now stand on every planet in Liberty, and it is with great pride that we are announcing today that their heroic legacy was honoured, as the systems they have liberated have been prevented from falling into hostile hands.

The chain of events
On 14th November, a large Technocracy invasion force was detected in the Texas system. They have claimed authority over territory and aggressively assaulted naval assets merely for doing their regular patrols, killing over 50 officers and crewmen with their senseless attack. There was little time to mourn for the fallen however, as an attack of this scale couldn't have come without powerful logistical backing, and there was only one option from where the invasion could have originated given its direction: The Kansas system.

Worst fears materialise
This presumed tactical extrapolation was soon confirmed, as an unregistered civilian installation, Quantum Outpost sent out an SOS signal, they were under attack by the Technocracy. Soon after, it was clear where the Texas assault was launched from. At the edges of Tuttle Creek Nebula, a forward-party resupply installation of the Technocracy was discovered. The find itself and the massive scale of it was hard to believe. It was not just the Technocracy. The base became a hub for multiple enemies of Liberty. A XKR-EV-TWO "Tempest" Mark-I Coalition Carrier, the Coalition flagship SCRA|CPW-Dmitry.Yazov was moored with the base, alongside a massive fleet of Auxesian vessels. They were joined by the Insurgency Remnants who seemed to have not heard the call about their Military Junta's defeat, and to our surprise the same foreign Zoner Warships that came to stir issues in Pennsylvania, who fractured the many decades-old cooperation between Liberty and local peaceful Zoners.

The gigantic axis of foreign hostiles began using the installation as a staging ground for their invasion and assault against civilian targets. The liberation of Kansas that Liberty Navy Officers bled for was in danger of being reverted, Dylan Brandt's legacy tarnished, and the situation looked dire.

Liberty Rallies
The entire House of Liberty was suddenly under threat, an axis of hostile powers this large had not been seen in the history of our house. soon the Coalition, Foreign Zoner Warships, Insurgency, and Technocracy were also joined by the Liberty Rogues in a unified front. But the heroes of the Liberty Navy, veterans of the Insurgency Campaign who believed in the legacy of Brandt and the Delaware wouldn't just lead them mass and stage an invasion on a scale the Insurgency never could. Calls were made to Liberty Forces, and they have heard a strong answer. A massive contingent of Liberty Navy Secondary Force capital vessels was dispatched, while the Primary Fleets volunteered to act as a backup in New York and the Core worlds in case the Kansas campaign turned south and the collective hostile forces began their planned invasion.

The initial battles were fierce - the hostile combined battlegroup fielded upwards of thirty vessels, from battleships to bombers, severely outnumbering the Liberty Heroes. But that would not deter us, we had the spirit of the Delaware's sacrifice itself behind us, leading our every step. Our target: The installation that was fuelling this massive invasion force.

A Masterclass in Naval Tactics
Much like Delaware was in their legendary push on Veracruz, we were heavily outnumbered and outgunned. Naval strategists have analyzed the mythical push for years now however, we knew what to do to breach the defences of entrenched large forces. Multiple tactics have been used, we cannot go into the details, but the "Kansas Maneuver" will become part of West Point Academy's textbooks, as modern Naval warfare makes heavy use of a carrier, docking module and jump drive technology to bypass and surprise hostile defence forces, and on the same day the enemy fielded a flotilla of over 24 vessels, we have severely damaged their staging ground while rising the absolute minimum amount of assets.

Liberty Victorious
After the Kansas Manoeuvre, it was only a question of time until our enemy's bastion crumbles. the final assault was launched the very next day as the hostile fleet was distracted by attempting to eliminate the civilians of the Quantum Outpost. The hostile base was obliterated in one large push, destroying any hopes of the Axis of Evil of launching their invasions into the Texas system. This complete victory has also sent a message to all our enemies - Liberty will not sit idly by as you try to annex territory on our borders, as you gather under one sinister banner of evil.

The hunt begins
After the loss of their staging ground, the hostile Axis was in disarray, they attempted a retreat to the Vespucci system, where they were tracked down by the Aegis Initiative bounty hunters, with our forces soon following. The battle ended in a resounding victory and the Axis of Evil was dealt another heavy blow. The Aegis initiative themselves have been instrumental in the Axis' defeat, and have earned the respect of the First Armada alongside monetary bonuses and future contract preferences.

Although we have for now prevented invasions of our house space with this complete victory, the threat is not over yet. The defeated enemies are expected to not stop their attempts at terrorist attacks against civilians, Quantum Outpost might remain their target - we want to assure the citizens of Liberty that we will continue to act where necessary.

We want to thank everyone who was part of this short campaign that will become part of Liberty's history, all the First Armada heroes, all the officers and crews of the LNS-Saipan, LNS-Lady~of~Leeds, LNS-Kansas, LSF-Nemea, LNS-Entanglement, LNS-Gyatt, the mercenaries 'Valkyrie' and Aegis to name just a few.
