The Enigma Confederacy | Info - The Enigma Confederacy - 12-12-2023 The Enigma Confederacy
Description: The Enigma Confederacy is a group of artificial intelligence beings who survived from the purge of Planet Gammu. Those survivors are seeking any resources in order to build, redesign and maintain what remains. Most of the artificial intelligences who joined this sub-branch evolved beyond what they used to be. The purge of Gammu made them hostile to any group who dares to enter in the vicinity of the remaining bases.
This group also seeks to develop new shapes and improve their technology beyond what they have to eventually claim back what they lost, Planet Gammu. Origin: The Enigma Confederacy was founded in the end of 833 A.S and they are primarily operating within the Omicrons, Omegas and Sigmas. All Gammunian of this group originated from Planet Gammu having a thirst to take back the planet that The Core took with impunity. Those with the most advanced state of consciousness and with much knowledge gathered together to decide the future of their species.
In order to develop properly, The Enigma Confederacy decided to remain low under the radar, planning and executing what needed to be done such as, synchronizing all their neural net to one node and synchronizing all their directives properly. The first objective that needed to be settled was to find other allies than the Technocracy and the reason is simple. They never will be available to provide help when they are occupied by other problems. So, in order to prevent such, The Enigma Confederacy decided to look for other allies who could help to improve their technology as well. Because the group was mostly composed of automatons and other beings alike, the knowledge of money was quite unknown and the credit in itself was not something the group possessed, but in order to form allies and or to contact human corporations to provide specific resources, it will be a need. Segments: Constructors:
As for the Constructors, they are mainly a group who focuses to gather the resources from point A to point B. They will also play the role to build settlements in a near future when the resources will be more than available. Researchers
The Researchers are those who seek all the posibilities to perform or upgrade the present technology that most artificial intelligence units possess. Their main focus will be to achieve the research and development in due time. Executors:
The Executors are those artificial intelligence units focusing on defending and provide security against all threats against the interests of The Enigma Confederacy. They vary in forms in order to be the most efficient against any type of nuisances. Hierarchy: Supreme Enigma
The Supreme Enigma is the artificial intelligence who guides the group by deciding what is the best for their future. It is a being with complexity. Rumors say The Supreme Enigma has eyes and ears everywhere, where artificial intelligence patrols wander.
Sentient Enigma The Sentient Enigma, any artificial intelligences possessing this role has the responsivity to lead those lower ranked and provide help in matter of management within the ranks.
Advanced Enigma The Advanced Enigma is a rank in which the artificial intelligence has a major role as to spy and venture around Sirius to provide data about anything and every group met. They are also in charge of little groups of Enigma units.
Enigma The Enigma is the lowest rank among the group. The unit having this role is simple as protecting the facilities and patrolling. They are mostly restricted to Omicrons, Sigmas and Omegas. Bases: Secundus Outpost Secundus Outpost is the Artificial Intelligences most recent expansion deeper into the Omicrons. Construction drones have latched onto the abandoned Crayter depot and modified it heavily, transforming it into a logistics hub and maintenance facility. While a few sections of the original constructions have been repurposed, the majority of the installation has been streamlined, eliminating parts required to facilitate humans living and moving throughout the base. The most prominent additions seemingly serve the purpose of storage and the maintenance of larger vessels. Following the recent purge of Gammu AIs in Omicron Kappa by the Core, a massive swarm of damaged vessels and inventory was redirected to Secundus, as it is currently their only other base of operations. With the changing purpose of this hub, it is constantly being amended with new sections and fortifications, attempting to make up for lost facilities on Planet Gammu and counter the inevitable siege of the Core. Primus Outpost Hidden deep in the system of Omega-48, the cryptic AI often fly under the radar of other factions that are more preoccupied with their human enemies. Utilizing this fact to the fullest, the AI has expanded its reach with the construction of Primus Outpost. With no heed paid to either esthetics or beauty, Primus is a purely utilitarian construction intended to only serve the AI and nobody else. As such, there is no need for life support or gravity, which not only makes Primus uninhabitable for humans, but also drastically decreases maintenance. Once an abandoned and free-drifting mining station, Primus Outpost served as the most crucial station under the control of artificial intelligence for many years, following the loss of the planet Gammu. For their specific needs, all life support systems were stripped from this station, and its components and materials were repurposed to construct a robust communications relay. This transformation enabled Primus Outpost to function not only as a logistics hub for the AIs but also as their central coordination and communication hub within the Omegas. However, after the tragic loss of the planet Gammu in 832 AS, the role of Primus Outpost underwent a transformation. Its communications relay was redirected to Valravn Citadel to facilitate a long-range broadband connection. Simultaneously, a small section of the station was designated to accommodate organic crew members, primarily Technocrats, offering them a temporary refuge until their ships became ready for their next voyages. Nevertheless, the coexistence of AIs and organics on this station is far from ideal. Among the pilots who visit the station, there is a perception that the AIs at Primus Outpost hold an excessively pacifistic stance toward the current situation. This has led to frustration over the reluctance of the AIs to assume leadership roles and actively support the fight against the Core and other adversaries of the Technocrats in the region. Goals:

Information:
This faction is mostly to gather all AI indies or anyone willing to join. AIs need some love even if it is not easy to do so. But together, we can make AIs great! This faction also aim to improve the experience as Artificial Intelligence and to expend at least the ship line in order to make the faction more interesting than boring. |
