Event Background.


With three dates in 833 A.S, the Golden Dragon Gran Prix Cup will once again ensure hot Ship-to-Ship duels in the Shikoku. Sirius's best Racers will be competing here. Spectators can look forward to millimetre work at high speeds, Light Fighter vessels and great fan proximity.

The fans can expect a classic Sirius Race weekend: Free practice sessions are scheduled for the first day. On the following day, qualifying will begin. The Golden Dragon Gran Prix Cup reaches its climax with the spectacular battles in which two pilots compete against each other at the same time. Whoever convinces the judges more is in the next round. The loser can pack up - it doesn't get more exciting than that.

With the Prize pool for 2.650,000 Millon The awards for Top Three shall be:

First Place - 1.500.000 SIrius Credits.

Second Place - 850.000 Sirius Credits.

Third Place - 300.000 Sirius Credits.







General rules:
This is the first time the event will take place over three days: - Friday - Practice Race (no rewards), Saturday - qualifying day (Depends on the amount of players) and Sunday - Final day - Top N (depends on numbers) (It can be changed, I am glad to recieve a feedback) UPD: Event will be at 23rd of December - Saturday only.
Registration is mandatory.
Equipment rules - Light Fighters & Freighters only, no weapons, mines or CDes.
Location: Shikoku D-5 quadrant zone. (Golden Dragon Casino)
All Hogosha neutral IDs (rep) are eligible for registration.
Donation to increase a Prize pool is viable. You can become a sponsor of this event. (InRP you're faction/Company will be mentioned while racing.)

Bonjour,

This is intended to be the first of a series of Grand Prix races held across all of the houses as a part of the Voidspace Racing League. Our associates in the Hogosha are obviously rather eager to start their own Grand Prix as soon as possible, but more events will be held after the New Year. The location and times of these other events will be announced in the future, so do please keep your eyes open for them.

With that said, the Accord de Zurich will be sending multiple racers to attend the Hogosha Grand Prix, you may expect to see us on the day of the race. With that I will say bonne chance to all other participants, and that I am looking forward to the race.

//OP Updated: Race would be at 23rd of December. Freighters were added & Prize pool were updated as well. I want to remind that The event is Registration only, so it would be canceled or postponned if no one/less than 8 would register.
