Subject: Transfer of resources

Comrades,

My name is Lex Setiawan, and I'm here representing the Kongsi Syndicate. We're a group within the Independent Miners' Guild that organizes ourselves according to the principles of anarcho-communism; all our resources are shared collectively, and decisions are made via democratic votes after a period of consensus-building among relevant members of the Syndicate.

At present, we mostly live aboard our capital ships and the neglected Dounby in Orkney. This arrangement is far from optimal, given the difficulty of getting supplies to Dounby through the Westray and the Giant's Causeway, and the necessity of keeping our cruisers combat-ready to defend our operations. As such we're looking for a more permanent home for our people, and while your asteroid base is in good repair, it seems to not be seeing much use. On that account, we'd like to inquire if you're willing to transfer the facility to us. We could negotiate a monetary payment or we could investigate alternative means of compensation, but we're quite interested in that rock, as its location is both secure and optimal for processing the niobium we mine from the fields.

If you're interested, the facility would absolutely remain open to you as well as the rest of the Guild, either to deposit unrefined ore at or to pick up finished product for distribution across Sirius. We would only take as small of a cut as needed to keep our operations afloat; while we're loathe to resort to monetary transactions, when dealing with those outside the Syndicate it's unfortunately almost always a necessity. Regardless, please get back to me and we'll see if we can't come to an arrangement here.

In solidarity.

Greetings Lex Setiawan.

Yes, we hold the base in good health and although it may looks like it's not being used much, still many ship are docking at the base.

So, I'am not interested in selling it at the moment.
I'm wishing you best of luck finding a good home.
