My vessel Schoneck, a Gallic Frigate, has been assigned to oversee the Military's part of the resupply operations. As I was nearest on scene after the inspection and the discovery of abandonment, we scrambled to lay in supplies for the incoming maintenance crews. The base is not in good shape at the moment, but I have been assured that there is no critical structural or reactor damage sustained.
Trusting the experts, I opened the docking bay to an early responder to Admiral Arnold's communication - the vessel Gravenhelm, who has made multiple trips with additional supplies and materiel. These are yet to be unpacked, but should prove handy for longer-term operations.

Direktorin, I would encourage you to employ independent experts to conduct another assessment. In order to fund this endeavor, the Oberkommando has authorized the payment of the outstanding fines for the station. I understand that the quarterly registration payments have also resumed - these were sadly neglected based on my quick skim of the data banks.

Admirals, Direktorin - I will be making a thorough survey of the facilities with the maintenance chief after a much-needed rest. The Schoneck is well-stocked with supplies, and the Handelsdepot team has managed to free up some rough quarters with the available supplies being put to good use. After the survey is conducted, I will submit a full report using this node.

I am glad to report that Handelsdepot is now fully operational, and is ready to be relocated to satisfy its asset parameters. I would also recommend a re-opening ceremony, to get the Junker stink out of the base.

A detailed report is attached, but the summary is this: it seems that with funding running out, the previous owners have deliberately maintained a front of local resupply and ship repairs. In reality, the automated machinery has been left to fend for itself, with all personnel abandoning the station some months ago. A careful survey of the station has uncovered nothing of value, excepting a prototype which seemed to have abandoned under the slag of an industrial fire.

With the assistance of SEO disposal experts from Gravenhelm and Lauenburg, the station was refurbished in record time. After living quarters have been established, I personally vetted all incoming crew, with the assistance of the SEO captains. A number of industrial experts from Hamburg have also been approached, and many have chosen to sign the generous defense contracts available to them. As these are all experienced professionals, misconduct has been minimal. However, with the restoration of the base completed, I have sensed a growing discontent with their lack of duties.

In order to maintain discipline and confirm the named expertise, I volunteered the Schoneck to offload a substantial amount of assorted salvage on the station. As of two hours ago, the pipeline is fully operational, and running as smoothly as can be expected. I have already confirmed with my SEO contacts that future waste disposal contracts are more than available to us, meaning that large-scale salvaging operations can begin at any time.
