ALG & BMM - The Leeds Clean-up (Phase 1) | Weekends 6-9PM UTC - Barrier - 03-09-2024 The negotiations between Sirius Entsorgung and Bretonia Mining & Fabrication representatives have finally been concluded. Though neither side was fully satisfied with their outcome, a way forward is now possible for one of the most ambitious projects of the decade - the clean-up of the Leeds system. Without an ironclad commitment by the Bretonian government, corporate investors have been wary of committing substantial funding grants, instead preferring to monitor the progress in separate phases. Phase 1, dubbed the "West Leeds clean-up", will be focused on the West Leeds Smog Cloud, and the debris contained therein. With no shortage of old hulls, abandoned stations, and remnants of prior battles, the task will require the substantial experience of the foremost waste disposal experts of Rheinland and Bretonia. With the sensor-damping features of the cloud, not to mention the corrosive nature of many of its contaminated pockets, only the closest attention to detail and preparatory measures will bear fruit. With the infamous Halifax freeport hosting any number of threat of a more human nature, security measures must be as extensive as the Hazmat prep. As the costs of the operation balloon ever higher, there's a question on many corporate lips as to whether this initiative will ever see a continuation... Waste Disposal Contracts
