Cannot Connect - Royal_Oak - 03-13-2024
Hello, I've been trying to connect to the server but keep getting the same message in game.

I tried reinstalling without the Windows Real Protection turned on and turned off IPv6. Didn't help.
Could there be any other solutions please?

Are you running any VPNs or have any third party firewall software installed on your PC? It may be worth disabling/uninstalling these and seeing if that fixes the issue.

I do not use VPN services or have any third party anti virus or firewall software installed.

At that point I would potentially look at your Windows Defender firewall to see if that could be causing any problem. Perhaps try temporarily disabling it and then try launch Discovery and attempt to connect again.
Reading some other threads of people posting about connection issues, some have mentioned a Freelancer/Discovery reinstall fixed it for them, worth a try if you haven't already. But ensure you back up your launcher config .xml so that you don't lose any of your accounts.

Tried disabling everything still not working. I will try reinstalling everything again, but doubt it will work.

I assume you are trying to connect your own server
go to Freelancer/EXE/flhook_plugins
remove dsacesrv.dll it will fix
or if it is "the" server
you might be auto banned, you should PM an admin in Discord I say

Im trying to connect to the Discovery server with other players.
I was told I was unbanned and everything was okay from their end, I contacted one of the admins again though

It may have something to do with the previous ban, but yes I'm sure an admin can confirm that for you. Hope you manage to get it sorted and get playing again. See you in space.

I have been getting the same error for a week now. The only workaround I found was using VPN. Ironically that's the only way the server let's me in.
