Before I speak, I must highlight the importance of secrecy in what you are about to hear. If news of this plan were to surface among the public, or anyone outside of those attached in this communication channel - it would pose exceptionally grave danger to national security.


The Emperor's visit to Gallia loathsomely displayed a massive security breach in the Rheinland Armed forces that both myself and Admiral Henze have suspected for some time. While provided intelligence indicated the likelihood of an ambush by the Red Hessians, Corsairs, Maquis, & Bundschuh - it did not indicate a valid threat from alien infestation.

There were an unholy number of Scorpion Drones present during the escort through both Cologne & Zurich. So much so that BDM| and [RM] forces were nearly overwhelmed. The source of our route analysis is currently heavily in question for providing faulty intel, but regardless I deem the existence of such an infestation unacceptable.

With such being the case, I have devised a plan to not only bite back - but to poison our enemy in the process. Much like my alias might suggest, we have arrived at the perfect opportunity to strike.

The Thuringia system houses the only known infested platform in Rheinland known as "Valhalla Shipyard" which you are all undoubtedly familiar with. The existence of this base has been kept quiet by yourselves and myself following the "Great Purge" several years ago.

Ministers, to cut to the chase I & Admiral Henze have designed a means to eliminate Valhalla Shipyard in one swift and devastating strike. It will not only remove the threat but showcase our superiority in the process with the least possible risk to personnel and hardware in comparison to conventional tactics.

The R.N.C-Kolleda is currently undergoing decommissioning due to costly maintenance expenses. However, there is a use for the great warship that we would like to take advantage of. If the plan fails, we lose or sabotage a warship that was undergoing decommissioning anyway. If not, we wipe out Valhalla Shipyard.

Planet Weimar in the Thuringia system is home to several alien ruins both inactive and active. Among these is an active power source the Buro has managed to extract intact. We call it the "Dragon's Egg", this will act as the primary power supply for a recent weapons development breakthrough, I refer to it as "NEUROTOXIN". The weapon has the potential to make long-range precision shots of ionized plasma. With a supercharge from the "Dragon's Egg" the math indicates it would be more than capable of wiping Valhalla off the Thuringia star chart once and for all.

This is where the Kolleda comes into play, we intend to - should this be approved - move the R.N.C-Kolleda to Jena Station in Thuringia, where we will replace the ship's drive core with the "Dragon's Egg". Compatibility testing so far is limited to general systems, emergency systems, targeting & of course - the NEUROTOXIN. For this reason, we will need to utilize lifting craft to tow the R.N.C-Kolleda from Jena Station into a position suitable for a precision shot. The BDM will obtain precise coordinates to make this happen.

This mission will endure several risks, once the R.N.C-Kolleda has cleared the Hohenfeld the alien forces near Valhalla will undoubtedly detect its presence and move to counterattack. We will have a garrison suited to defend the warship while it's moved into position. To mask its movement from New Berlin & draw away attention prior, however, Großadmiral Alfred Henze has proposed something creative.

We've decided the best way to draw out any infiltrators and adversaries is to sponsor a joint military exercise with the Gallic Navy in the Frankfurt System. The BDM, and Rheinland Military leadership will mandate the attendance of all their subordinates. This will force all parties - adversaries included - to show face. The exercises will last at least three days long, after the first day of exercises, the BDM and RM garrisons assigned to this mission will depart. This will give us a slight headstart in our efforts, and any others who leave the exercises in the meantime will expose themselves as suspect.

I must finally warn you that despite our tests so far, alien technology is highly volatile. The unpredictability of this event is very likely to work in our favor, but there is always the probability of the artifact becoming unstable once we discharge NEUROTOXIN. For this reason, I have drafted a crew ready and willing to undertake the tasks despite the risks it poses to their livelihood. I have notified Admiral Henze of the same.
