Civil Servant is defined as a member of the tribe 'Damnatio Memoriae', a reclusive sect of the Platform. His personal life mirrors such a highly secluded culture; to many, there is little more to him than the information he dispenses. Only having documented appearances sometime after the Rheinland civil war, he first came to note of stirring his own question of purpose within the Bundschuh when he guided the sect of the 'Damnatio Memoriae' to host Tennstedt station.
Around 830A.S “CS” became more prominently seen in Rheinland’s core systems, notably followed by a sudden assembly of similar helmet-bound friends that accepted permanent residency on Tennstedt–in turn reducing the Bundschuh’s habits of “punishment postings” on the station. He became a mediator between the isolated Damnatio Memoriae and the rest of the Platform, solidifying the Cell's pledge of fighting for egalitarian justice against the corrupt structures of Sirius. He became known as a reliable specialist in the Sirian matters of fringe sciences, engineering and technologies, covert and clandestine strategy.
“CS”, like most others within the sect, prefers that nothing speculates beyond the concealing helmet and flight suit. Some believe he even sleeps with it on, from his ruthless insistence that it is merely more comfortable to remain worn at all times. Unlike others within the sect, his social demeanor is nothing short of excessively talkative; he insists it’s because he’s “enjoying the talks he couldn't get”.
As the Platform has expanded in recent years, the position of their infamous home Tennstedt has birthed new questions among the stories within Rheinlands darkest and best kept secret. He has been more than forthcoming that there he is preparing for a fight to ensure the survival of the Platform and his actions bring assurance that it is in good nature... Although any explanation of what that threat is like to those who have never stepped into Thuringia are met with an denial and an apology to many. Although the contact that he has with individuals like Klugmann within the Platform who continues to vouch for his support have left any requests of privacy from "CS" to be respected in good faith.
While "CS" is more social than his other fellow 'Damnatio Memoriae' members, any conversation with him on his opinions of civil rights and ethical choices of technology certainly hold a passion for him as conversations could go on for hours, but any topic about himself are met with dismissal and a quick and eager exit from the scene. While always polite as possible to friendly individuals, his option to always stay outside of the spotlight and restless and work-centric attitude have either confirmed his dislike for socialization, or reinforce his covert nature... While some rumours on Bruschal even suggest his intention to formalize an official "first-contact" protocol.
If anyone were to spot him, he is never to dissimilar from his DM compatriots, always armed, always helmeted and is usually spotted where the most outlandish of events are to be witnessed. Always prepared to immediately risk his own life for the objective.
Role and Status)
Upon formalizing the anarchist movement with Klugmann, CS immediately made moves to ensure that the Bundschuh were supported on its intelligence and engineering ability compared to their local and foreign adversaries, ensuring that political & paramilitary arms of the Platform had all the information at their disposal. While his position has shown some notoriety amongst other cells and members of the Bundschuh, he has made it known it will not stop him from aiding efforts towards the goals set by the anarchist civilian council, and that the corporate oppression continuously expanding across Sirius is shattered.
While being the lead representative of the Damnatio Memoarie and one of the leading commanders in the Platform Para-Military, Civil Servant has always held a tone that state political elitism has spawned from governments that succumb to power corruption and detachment from their associated demographic. His lifestyle represents that as he religiously spares himself of luxuries and advantages his corporate influenced counterparts embellish themselves in, representing from the frontline where the 'real work takes place'. While he has a casualness around even the most explosive of situations, he lacks a certain ability to be as histrionic or hyperbolist as other political speakers.
In matters of intelligence and research, he has been the ominous eyes and ears for beyond-human activity and has sworn to keep the Bundschuh informed of related stellar threats and corporate exploitation, his disdain for corporate fudging and malpractice within the scientific and political spaces for there goal of maximum profits at the expense of ethics has solidified his modus operandi. Unfortunately this contributes to his unsettling presence when around other Platformers and Bundschuh.
