Subject: A grave threat

Today was Ra's first outing under our new organization. And we have faced the combined might of three out of five of the houses's flagship class vessels. Kusari, Rheinland and Gallia alike have their largest ever-produced asset classes under the control of the enemy - the probability of each of the houses being compromised has increased exponentially with this discovery. The enemy doesn't even attempt to conceal the open sightings of the three together with Ish'tar class war forms.

Musashi|Aoi
Class: Tokugawa Kusarian Battleship
Presumed Corruption Levels: Fully infested
Outcome: Critically Damaged by our E\V/-OCV-Ra

K'Hara|Ki'Shar
Class: Valor Gallic Battleship
Presumed Corruption Levels: Directly Controlled by the mindshare
Outcome: Operational at point of our withdrawal

Schiller
Class: Bismarck Rheinland Battleship
Presumed Corruption Levels: Fully infested
Outcome: Critically Damaged by our E\V/-OCV-Ra

This development suggests that we should allocate additional resources towards the three affected houses - as far as known records go, this has been the first sighting ever of these three Battleship Class infested vessels in one place, and should be easy proof to give the houses that cooperating with the Eclipse Vanguard is in their own best interest.

Dispatch,

The Wraith Holme and Clysma encountered suspicious activity during a recent joint operation in {{REDACTED}}. A Gas Miners Guild vessel was observed at Freeport 5, an unusual location for such a craft. The Guild vessel displayed erratic behavior, rapidly approaching our task force within close scanner range before retreating back to Freeport 5.

Considering the recent attacks in Delta involving seemingly human-controlled vessels, this incident raises concerns about a potential shift in K'Hara's tactics from overt aggression to covert infiltration. The Guild vessel's actions suggest a more extensive network of compromised individuals, possibly extending beyond the Omicron territories.

Due to the rapid encounter, we were unable to obtain a detailed scan. However, blackbox records of the incident are attached for further analysis.

Recipient: Dispatch - Delta Information
Subject: Extortions In Delta

Dispatch,

The Wraith Holme has been monitoring the ongoing extortion campaign targeting facilities in Omicron Delta, as reported by our Phoenix allies. We have identified two locations of interest:
  • Seward Station: Formerly an open Junker facility, Seward Station has recently closed its doors to all outside traffic. Despite this apparent non-compliance with the "Wilde" cartel's demands, the station remains unharmed. Its proximity to the Tokelau Ice Cloud raises concerns about a potential connection to the compromised vessels.

  • Tokelau Smelter: This facility responded to the extortion attempt with an offer that appears to meet most of the cartel's demands. This raises suspicion of potential compromise within Tokelau Smelter, particularly given the potential benefit they might derive from an Iridium price floor and the elimination of competitors.

Recommendation:

Further investigation is necessary to determine the true nature of these facilities' involvement. While a direct attack may seem warranted, collateral damage and potential escalation with the Houses/Core (who may have economic ties to Tokelau Smelter) must be considered.

Action:

We propose a joint investigation with the Core , focusing on diplomatic channels first. If necessary, covert intelligence gathering can be employed to uncover the extent of these facilities' involvement.

Subject: Omicron Delta system Patrol report

Tonight, I commanded the battleship Raphael on patrol in the Omicron Delta system.

The recent fighting seems to have effectively curbed Nomad's movements, but unfortunately we were unable to save Grotto. The frequency of large NOMads is decreasing, which is a good sign, but there are still small nomads in the Delta system, and daily patrols still need to be maintained.

Our agents found some small Nomad creatures acting alone at the entrance to the Minor Jump Hole today, in order to prevent Nomad from threatening Minor or even the Mu system. They managed to kill Nomad at the scene. After this, I docked the battleship Raphael at Freeport 11 to continue to assist the Zoner against the Nomad threat.

These are the latest patrol reports. Salute to the commander in chief!

19:00, April 5, 834 AS

I have arrived at the Battleship Amenta. The Nomads patrolling this system are just as aggressive as the radiation currently clouding my ship; it is apparent how much the aliens wish to defend it.

There’s a strong electromagnetic field emanating from somewhere and it seems to be interfering with long range comms. I will provide an update when I can.

01:00, April 10, 834 AS

My meeting with the GNI agent on April 7th seemed to go well, and provided me with some new insights that will be helpful as I continue to operate here. While the GNI seem rather welcoming, I’ve been told that others groups within the great house won't be as hospitable. The Gallic Navy and the general populace are still expected to scrutinize my presence, so secrecy is still of the essence (not that I’d have it any other way). Fortunately, the Unione Course may be able to provide safe haven for me as I uncover what I can. They are supposedly not as opposed to working with The Order compared to the rest of Gallia. I hope to get into contact with them soon.

Early on April 9th, I began surveying possible locations of wild holdouts. So far, I’ve done a brief expedition into a few systems, and there are some locations of interest I will have to double back on. My findings so far can be found in the attached personal audio log.

.: HIGHLY CLASSIFIED INTELLIGENCE REPORT :.

05:30, May 9, 834 AS

Captain Saito reporting, sitting here in what's probably the most wretched system within the farthest corner of Sirius. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m kind of missing the Omicrons right now. This place is full of dangers hiding within the clouds and the radiation is killer, however I also cant help but notice that it vaguely mirrors our very own Omicron Mu, at least in a geographical kind of way. Bit of a twisted take, but I suppose I'll spare you my ramblings.

First, a debriefing on current happenings before I get into some more pressing matters. Since making contact with the Gallic National Intelligence, I've also been introduced to the Unione Corse whilst "touring" the sectors that are actually pleasant and hospitable around Gallia. Neither group seems too opposed to working with us, although some distrust towards us is still to be expected. I am still awaiting an official responses from both of these groups, and the Gallic Navy's stance still needs to be determined but we will get to that in due time. In the meantime I’ve taken the opportunity to do a more comprehensive expedition into the Tau-61 system.

Following up on some leads from my initial pathfinding discoveries when I first arrived, I can honestly say I haven't uncovered many new subjects of interest. A hidden planetary body, an extremely old Gallic battlecruiser wreck, some more chunks of ice… all very mundane. The most disappointing thing was my follow up scan on one of the gas giant's moons, dubbed Apeiron. I was rather optimistic that the Hathor's scanner would have better luck than my personal star fighter at getting through the intense magnetic interference. I'm sure you've surmised that this was not the case, nothing but noise.

This moon, Apeiron, appears to be suitable enough to harbor life and make a decent location for an outpost, yet here I am wondering why it is I see no Wild or Nomad patrols passing nearby nor am I detecting any artificial structures to speak of. Something seems aloof here, in fact, I’d bet what's currently my only bottle of sake that the Nomads have something hidden on that snowball.

Command, I understand it’s a tough ask, but if a small detachment could be spared to help confirm my suspicion then we might be able to get a leg up in this system. I have a hope that the sensors on our recon cruisers could be strong enough to brute force their way through the magnetic interference and get us a clear reading on any unusual activity that may be present on this moon. If we can spare a few cruisers to perform this task then I'm sure we'll gather some useful data at least. Some escorts are recommended just in case we stir up the hive. I'd recommend bringing gunboats since they can handle the intense radiation much better than fighters or bombers could. If snubs are the call then I urge you to bring a battlecruiser with hangar space for them to seek refuge.

I will await your response for now.

I don't think I've seen such audacity since Toledo. Nomad and Core fleets directly assaulting our homeworld - my crew joined the prolonged three-way battle.

In total, my crew took down Nomad and Core intruding vessels and assisted with two more - all Aliens were obliterated, and only a handful of heavily damaged Core vessels remained that posed no threat to Akabat. The Eclipse Vanguard fought bravely, and we have prevented another Toledo today.

Subject: Kusari Ships Breach Akabat Defenses

Command,

Taba's fighter squadron was called to handle a major security breach around Akabat's defenses, caused by a battlegroup of warships and snubcraft of Kusari origin. Myself, "Asim", E\V/-Wolf, and Jack Harper of the Primary Fleet deployed to assist the Order capital ships. Despite the casualties, we managed to eliminate the majority of Kusari forces, although some of them were able to escape to the Tohoku system.

Our agents from Ryuku recently informed us that Kusari began amassing their forces at The Arch in Tohoku. I defer to their knowledge on the matter. I'd suggest we confer with the Primary Fleet to track down the potential security breach that led to them getting so near to Akabat and prepare for an even greater assault.

Guncam footage attached.
