The Liberty Police Division is a new addition to the extensive Police forces maintained across the space claimed by Liberty. The division is a combination of older experienced pilots and fresh faced recruits, bought in to turn the tide against an increasing concern amongst citizens and industries about the long term security of house space against unlawful influences. It is expected that the addition of this new division will help bolster a wavering legal presence among Liberty's core assets and increase confidence of the population going forward.
Whilst not having the numbers that these Navy fleets may muster, it is hoped that the experience and training of the few Police forces will be enough to make a difference in House space, between regular mundane cargo inspections, tracking hostiles with sensors across secure space, assisting our friends in the Navy and, when it comes down to it, employing our firepower and piloting skills to vanquish these hostiles from our territory, keeping the citizens of Liberty safe and ensuring the prosperity of our sectors. We seek to inspire those who wish to dedicate their lives to such a dangerous career to sign up and assist in the endless pursuit of security.

Ⅰ. Background

Whilst the main security of this space is protected by forces of the Liberty Navy, the internal security of these systems has always been reliant upon the hard working members of the Liberty Police and it's corporations and divisions. Whilst these various organizations have changed over the years, the core concept has always remained the same - to provide security to the sector, and ensure the laws of the land are enforced, by any means necessary.
The Liberty Police Division is a relatively new branch to the Police service which has a long legacy of it's own, however it was inevitable as the enemies of Liberty evolved and changed their operations that the Police service would also have to make changes in order to adapt to these new challenges. This came at a cost, however, as the dwindling reserves of the Police became ever more problematic compared to the increasing ranks of the Liberty Navy and it's various fleets.
Whilst not enjoying the most up to date technology or weapons, it is hoped that the steadfast members of the Liberty Police Division and their experiences in the field will ultimately prove an invaluable addition to the predominately Navy forces currently providing security for the sector. Ⅱ. Responsibilities
The Liberty Police Division expects all of it's members to prioritize the enforcement of Liberty's laws and security above all else. Each member is hand picked, trained and equipped to deal with a variety of situations, some of these require words when others may require the employment of weapons. The extensive training provided helps our members know which to use and when.
In your service to the Division, you may be expected to:
This is not an exhaustive list, you are expected to do what is necessary using your judgement and tools at your disposal. Failure to perform your duty will result in lives being lost, and this is an unacceptable result that will undermine the faith put in Liberty's Police forces by it's citizens and allies.
In your service to the Division, you may be expected to:
- Conduct Patrols of Liberty Space, on your own or with allied entities.
- Respond and assist members of Liberty organizations, such as the Liberty Navy, Police, or Intelligence services.
- Escort and protect shipping companies and assets within Liberty Space, to ensure the supply chains remain functional.
- Intelligence gathering of hostile movements and ship information, to be reported to other security assets within the area.
- Apprehension, transport or execution of high value targets or criminals within Liberty space or it's borders.

ⅠⅠⅠ. Ranks
Captain
The Captain is responsible for the entire division, and is required to oversee the entire operation and ensure it is meeting the requirements of the house of Liberty.
Lieutenant
Lieutenants are trusted in their position to help lead the division, make decisions about it's future, and have access to the full records of members and citizens.
Sergeant
Sergeants make up the core of the division with their knowledge and experience. They are primarily the driving force behind the organization, and help introduce and train newer members and bring them up to the standard expected.
Patrol Officer
Rank and file Patrol Officers are the backbone of the division, they are the most numerous, made up of trusted members of the population selected for their skills and training to keep our systems safe.
Trainee Cadet
Trainee Cadets have just begun their journey and basic training. They are new members to the division who are still undergoing extended training, and are on the route to graduating to the rank of Police Officer.
