Hello for the first(ish) time - Buz Killstar - 04-30-2024
Hey!
So glad to see this mod and community active and thriving after all this time. I played Discovery Freelancer for just a few weeks years ago when a couple of friends and I decided to try getting into it and had an awesome time of it. We glommed on to a junker faction and got to tag along on a few highly legitimate "trading" runs through the backalleys of space, it was great.
Sadly real life intervened and shortly after we got started I had to drop the game, life was a little chaotic at the time and I didn't have the time to think about this game again until recently but I'd always wished I'd had the time to get more into it so I'm giving it another shot. So far I've just been refamiliarizing myself with things and reading through the active player factions but I'm so happy to see this mod is still active and evolving today.

EDIT: Also there's the Veteran's Package, you can get yourself a fancy transport with a healthy sum of money to jumpstart your reintroduction
