Hi
I have tried to get to Alaska from New york lots of times but I just hit minefields,is there some secret to this?
Surely there must be a way...

There's an opening in the minefield. If you cruise towards Chadwick Station from the Missouri, the tunnel is a bit to the right from that flight line.
Someone who is in-game at this moment can give you more precise details.
