Hostage: Famed KNF Fleet Admiral, I Yamamoto released!

This is the GNN News Service, bringing you information on events that have occurred today in the New Tokyo system.

Several hostages, numbered around 24 were released by the infamous Zetsumai Tarinaka. Captain Tachiko of the Kusari State Police recovered the hostages near Kabukachi Station, where we believe the Golden Chrysanthemums were holding the prisoners.

Among the naval and police pilots was a CEO of a shipping company that was being transported by armored transport to Planet New Tokyo for a meeting with his security chiefs.

The hostages were released after the GC were given a sum of 2.5 million credits. A small price to pay for the lives of the hostages.

These prisoners were captured earlier today by the same Zetsumai. She flew, alone to Planet New Tokyo and, in some way we have yet to determine, blew up the Fleet Admiral's Flagship. The Fleet Admiral escaped in a pod, only to be taken by the GC.

The Kusari Naval Forces and State Police forces were helpless to stop the highly agile Eagle cutting through the first wave of defenders.

Even Captain Tachiko's Wyrm was destroyed after a malfunction with its engine systems caused it to cease movement. Fortunately, Captain Tachio was recovered quickly by one of the Naval Force's Chimaeras and taken down to Planet New Tokyo to get a backup fighter. But by the time he had made it back to space above the planet, the Golden Chrysanthemum Eagle was nowhere to be found.

This has caused government security officials to begin making arrangements to try and counter the growing threat of the Blood Dragons and GC, before they run rampant throughout Kusari.

There are some rumors growing that suspect BAF involvement in the attacks, but so far no official statements by either government.

(SF can post here in the role of Bretonia's government, and maybe one of the KSP members as the Kusari Government.)

In response to the GNN broadcast and rumors circling about BAF or SF involvement, although the loss of the Fleet Admiral's flagship is a benefit to the war effort, the SF did not orchastrate the attack and currently has no information regarding those who did. Our condolences on the loss of life that has occured by this apparent terrorist act.
