As sympathizers of the Republican side of the Civil War, we have long admired you from afar. Now we find ourselves in a mutual plight: A jump hole to Ontario has opened in Inverness but 60 seconds from Invergordon. Keflavik Depot, our own residence of Valravn Citadel, and Invergordon itself are all at risk. We would like to open talks on mutual defense with both you and the Junkers, to whom we have already reached out. Your presence too is at threat, for this jump hole is itself not two minutes from Fort Ramsey, the heart of Xeno power and the suspected homebase of the traitorous Battlegroup Harmony. We must join together to formulate a defense against this newfound threat. Thank you for your time,

My name is Marika Hornik, Director of Resource Management Division at ALG, the administrative division operating Keflavik. Our pilots have reported occasional friendly encounters with what I surmise must have been your vessels.
This most recent stellographical shift has indeed put us in a tenuous position. Although we are mostly able to rely on our own production and local supply for regular operation, Keflavik does require occasional shipments into and out of house space, which are now increasing operating costs. Additionally, we have relied to some degree on Orbital Spa & Cruise to lease hauling vessels for this task due to the limited number of our own vessels stationed in the region, and we expect their services to become less frequent or at least more expensive with the loss of the Cortez connection. I can't comment on the threat posed by Xeno or other hostile entities' incursions from Ontario. At a brief glance, this seems to be a relatively low risk factor, but I'm sure your local strategic analyses are done in greater depth than ours. To cut a long story short, the board has denied funding for Keflavik in the upcoming quarter and is looking for buyers to divest from the operation. While the station has comfortably recuperated its investment cost, it's at this point considered too taxing on our fleet and manpower to maintain. Of course we would be looking at local buyers first and foremost, those that already have good relations with the neighbors - the Technocracy, Junkers, and the Starfliers. I'm told your task force is made up mostly of Legion veterans, and is currently flying under the banner of Auxo. Can you tell us more about yourselves? Warm regards, Marika Hornik Resource Management Directorate ALG RE: To: ALG & Keflavik Recycling Depot administration | From: Task Force Prometheus - Denelo - 06-05-2024 Incoming transmission...
Identification: High Logarch Denelo Mori, Task Force Prometheus Source: Valravn Citadel Encryption: X3-N0-0H-N0 Beginning voice transmission... Ah, good to hear from you, Director Hornik. I will gladly share more information. We are the remnants of the Commonwealth of Liberty, left adrift by her destruction at the hands of Victoria Knight and her military junta: The Insurgency. When the Insurgency was destroyed by Liberty, our civilians left under Knight's heel on Guadalajara fled to Erie, only to be pursued by the Republic of Liberty when they began their colonial project in Pennsylvania. Those refugees are now imprisoned in LPI internment camps. Our goals are threefold: We wish to rescue our people from Erie, bring Victoria Knight to trial for her crimes, and the destruction of the "Liberty Free Republic" who succeeded her accursed junta when it was destroyed. Towards these ends, we are indeed currently under the generous patronage of the Technocracy of Auxo, an old ally alienated by the Insurgency that themselves wish to see the return of the Commonwealth. That being said, our strength has always been in our logistics and relationships, and that was never more necessary than it is now. It is towards this end that we have begun to reach out to supporters of the cause of the Republic of Rheinland. While distant, we share many similar ideas for the futures of our respective Houses. I understand your group is one such supporter, and given the state of the wrecks and minefield in Vespucci left behind by the Insurgency's failures I think it prudent we discuss a relationship moving forward. As for Keflavik, there too we may have an arrangement—we have been looking for just such an installation ourselves. The Technocracy is generous, but their facilities are limited, and our own logistics, repair, and R&D teams have been cramped. Our frigates have had great success traversing Ontario and the Baffin Corridor, so I have little doubt we could ourselves maintain it, especially as it has no need to be a for-profit venture in our hands. If you are amenable, we will happily put in an offer. Thank you for your time,

It sounds like we can make an arrangement, then.
We have previous contacts with the Insurgency, the Commonwealth, and the battlegroup Harmony, but truthfully the intricacies of the relationships between these entities may be lost on us. The general company policy has been that we are amenable towards organizations opposed to the Republic of Liberty due to our less than stellar relations with the latter, but we would likely avoid involving ourselves in what we consider internal struggles among these entities with the exception of the Xenos, with whom we hold a high level of animosity for obvious reasons. We are sympathetic to the Erie independence movement, but it's not realistically within our sphere of influence to manipulate. At any rate, I've raised the Keflavik issue on the board and they're generally open to the idea of ceding operational control to Prometheus. The station is primarily set up as a recycling plant. It operates industrial smelters and refineries for the processing of metallurgical and chemical excess and waste products from stations and salvage in the region. If you intend to continue operation of these facilities, we will have to start training your own crews to take over. All Keflavik personnel is under contract until the end of this quarter at the end of this month, so we do have some time. Aside from Keflavik's staff, we have long-standing economic and defensive agreements with the Technocracy which will continue after we relinquish Keflavik administration. We operate a modest number of scrapping and logistics vessels in the area, as well as elements of Delta squadron, our Liberty-based combat force. If you plan salvage operations in the Vespucci remains, we would be able to provide craft and expertise for the task. I would suggest our respective accounting departments hold a meeting to this effect. I will send the news to the Tectarch's department and they can work with your accountant to hammer out the details on price and transfer of the base. We are more interested in using it as a defensive screen for Invergordon, so are happy for you to transfer what equipment you can to other stations if you wish once the current contract is up. As for the salvage operations in Vespucci, one of our primary concerns is that we ourselves lack regular access to the system due to a combination of LSF satellites and Xeno activity that said satellites seemingly ignore. While this is rapidly changing, the first step is to establish a foothold. Fortunately this already exists freely for your people in Tijuana Freeport, though we ourselves lack access to it. Your ships, however, can begin the process of surveying the wreckage in-system, while we provide support from another regional operation post that I cannot disclose for the safety of all involved, yourself included. That said, given your existing defensive pacts, would you care to join us for a meeting on the defense of Inverness? With both Liberty and the Xenos on our doorstep, Delta squadron or their managers and directors should be involved in the planning process. Thank you for your time,
