Good day everyone, Karmotrine Dream here.
It's been quite a while, enough I'd kind of forgotten when was the last time I played (or when I played, for that matter; fortunately the internet does not forget, so that'd be about three years ago), what I used to play or what were my usual stomping grounds, so when I quietly slid back in a few days ago I was pretty shocked to see how much Sirius and the game had changed - starting with Pennsylvania!
I was kind of coasting off old experiences in my Kestrel when I realised I was heading in the wrong direction for the Helium field, so I checked the map and hang on a minute, this is a lot different! (and for the better, I will say - great job system devs)
That got me wondering about what else changed, so I scurried off to poke around other systems and lo and behold, the thirst for exploration was reignited and Freelancer sparks joy again.
Right now I'm still familiarizing with all that's shifted and improved, so I don't have solidly defined characters you may have coincidentally met as of late - I've been content enough taking in the sights, hauling stuff, and decommissioning the old stuff I still had lying around.
Going for a clean slate of sorts, here, I've always liked re-starting from zero, and I was pleased to see it's been made more convenient than ever before (great job devs)!
