Several days ago en route from Capetown in Omicron Zeta to Durban in Omicron Delta, I have decided to go and see for myself the success of The Core against the A.I. System explored was called Omicron Pi, with the only entrance found from Omicron Delta, sector Gamma-Five.

[Omicron Pi]. One station with several drones and AI cruiser class are stationed in north-east of the system, together with one minefield. What however caught my interest was the minefield located on the western side, consisting mostly of organic/alien mines and a maze inside. I took the liberty to attempt to find a secure route through the maze, which to no surprise was filled with dead ends, but after a long battle I managed to reach the prize hidden on the very end of said maze. We were able to extract [one alien artifact] from the reactor and managed to deliver it in one piece to Prudhoe in Alaska.

I will get in touch with The Core regarding AI and their plans to see, if we can get our hands on some of that stuff, for research purposes of course.
