To: Jac Yarwood, Imogen O'Sullivan. Subject: The defense. Good afternoon - at least, it's afternoon according to onboard clock. Let's be honest about our predicament - since day one of our hard won freedom, Bretonia's been looking to claw their way back to Dublin's riches, over our bodies if needed be, with Santander written off as collateral damage. While I don't mind that ugly hunk of junk perishing with everyone aboard, I definitely object our own demise, and I am sure so do you.
Herein lies the problem - as it is now, we are not prepared to weather the coming invasion. We must meet and discuss preparations. While I don't promise you another giant bomb with which we disabled the gate - I can promise you we'll do our utmost to see Dublin is prepared for the coming fights. I will be over at Arranmore whenever you are ready to accomodate my visit - but don't make me wait too long. Time's of the essence. For Free Dublin. > End of Transmission < RE: »: Yarwood, O'Sullivan - RepublicanProvisionalAssembly - 08-06-2024 > Incoming transmission < Applying decryption algorithm... ...complete. Establishing video uplink. From: Admiral Imogen O'Sullivan To: Nora Rees Brennan. Subject: DRE: The defense. Attention all personnel, this is Admiral O'Sullivan. You're not wrong i'm afraid Nora. We're down a lot of good pilots and personnel, and just as many good ships. I'll make sure there's space for you and can have a command meeting arranged. I've got some ideas as for preparations, we'll have to see what the other Commanders offer up... and what support we can bring in from other bases and our allies. On the homefront, the Chancellor has expressed some concern about the distribution of our civilian personnel between bases, though i'm not convinced other facilities have the space to take any off Arranmore, or that the risk of losing transports moving people is acceptable. Hopefully we'll see you soon.
Admiral Imogen O'Sullivan.
