My name is Abel Deacon. I am one of the New Horizon Industries contractor working on Elcano Manufacturing Complex. Our facility is located in Magellan system, 15 clicks away from Cordova Shipping Platform. I have visited your station several times looking for Copper. You see, our facility specializes in constructing all kinds of special equipment. Some of this equipment requires Copper. Other requires some different materials, but our traders informed us that Copper is also a good commodity to trade in Rheinland, from where they can acquire some other needed materials. Therefore, we're always in need of Copper. I am a Freelancer. As such, I could only learn how to pilot my trusted Border Worlds Transport that is limited to a Cargo Hold of 3.600 units. Bigger ships appear to have higher requirements in terms of both personnel and knowledge of the flying apparatus all together, therefore I see myself in the situation where I have to contact you and inquire about possibilities of transporting Copper in higher quantity from your station to mine. I can see how flying through a Jump Hole might not be extremely desirable for your people, but I am willing to pay any damage your people might suffer transporting Copper to Elcano or returning back to your station. What do you say? Are you interested in supplying our facility with Copper?

Logan Davis, Captain & Manager LOCATION: Susquehanna Station, Cortez SUBJECT: Susquehanna Copper Trading Howdy Mr. Deacon. Good to hear from our neighbors. I generally run things on Susquehanna when I'm around, so I've been working on a good solution for you. I've also spoken to the boss, and this is what we're going to do: We've got a regular replenishment order at Cordova, which will now take Copper out your way on the first leg of the route. Additionally, we'll add you to our recommended destination for the Copper - but make sure it's worthwhile for folks to actually sell at your station. I'd recommend at least a 120SC purchase price. Finally, I've spoken to the warehouse supervisors, and it looks like we can set aside about 20,000 units for your station's use. Our folks have the access codes, so you can expect some deliveries even when Susquehanna is officially "dry". Hope these make things easier for ya'. If you're ever around, page ahead and I'll treat you at Ricketts' - or you can sample it yourself! Davis out. First, farthest, fearless. 「o」Message ends... Firstly, thank you so much for availability of running ships to our headquarters. Secondly, our plans for this Copper is to be used by our people when travelling to deep Omicrons looking for exotic materials that can be found only there. Therefore, we need to have the Copper at a decent price. From our management's perspective, 90 c/u is a good selling price, but in order to afford that, we cannot pay more than 85 c/u for acquiring said Copper. That being said, I can totally see how this is not lucrative for your people. In the end, I guess what I want to say is this: if your people ever travel to Magellan and have some spare Copper, we would highly appreciate them selling it to us. If that is not feasible, we totally understand that.

Some folks strolling no one knows where mentioned a new Frigate Liberty is working on. Do you happen to know if there is any truth behind these rumors? Are there indeed plans to build such a ship? If so, I'd be interested in acquiring at least one of these vessels. Now, in the spirit of appealing to your good side, some of my folks delivered 10,800 units of MOX to your establishment. I even instructed them to sell for the same price they bought it. I've heard the Sabah Shipyard in Coronado had some spare, so they brought the MOX from there at 37 credits per unit. See below the manifests.

Logan Davis, Captain & Manager LOCATION: Susquehanna Station, Cortez SUBJECT: Longhorn Heavy Frigate manufacturing Howdy there Mr. Deacon. You certainly heard right - we have just completed our modular dry-dock expansion, and the necessary safety tests to begin full operations. The vessel in question is the Class C5a Liberty Heavy Frigate - aka, the "Longhorn". Based on simulator testin', it is certainly the most competitive ship for its weight class in situations requiring operation away from nearby safety. I'm glad to inform you that if you choose to go through with an order, you currently have the second pace in the manufacturin' "line", meanin' you can expect your vessel within one or two weeks. In order to confirm your order, please fill out the required paperwork and submit it to the public node of Susquehanna Station, our dry-dock facility. I have to also tell you that at this time, the price point remains firm as we analyze the performance of the rollout. But I'm guessin' you'll have no trouble securing the "partner" discount, seein' as we have corresponded in the past. And your little bonus MOX delivery should help things along as well. In any case, I hope to see your request come across my desk in due time, and I'd be glad to buy you a drink at Ricketts' to celebrate your new acquisition! If you can spare the time to visit your neighbors, that is. Davis out. First, farthest, fearless. 「o」Message ends... |
