Bretonia is quite known for their capitalization on the gold industry. However, the war with Gallia put the entire house in a state of pragmatism. There is a significant decrease of quality in Bretonia's exports, and this is quite infuriating, as for my line of work, quality is more important than quantity. However, the Mollys of Dublin are known to provide a way higher standard of quality. At least for their gold. I wish to put this to the test and thus require a few samples of Molly gold. If the purity of their gold bars is sufficient, this could lead to further assignments in the Dublin system. By the way, the Mollys are known for their cultural, as it were, artistic expressionism. Maybe you can find a new location for a, as you call it, gig there. I am aware of your negative disposition with Gallia, and I believe, despite this assignment requiring you to head right there, this very assignment is the first step of few to provide you with some level of satisfaction. As for the assignment itself: I require you to simply move to Gallia and fly around using their trade lanes. Fairly simple, without much risk involved. And, while you're at it, leave the lanes at a convenient point, as far away from starting and ending point. Right in the middle. Then approach the closest lane ring, and take a few scans. It is an absolute requirement to take these scans in Gallia, in the following systems: Provence, Languedoc, Orleanais, Picardy and Champagne. Any trade lane ring will do, but respectively one in each of these systems. To take adequate scans, please get closer than 100 meters, use the "switch to target" icon in your operating interface and make sure to take guncam images. Taking these scans can take up to minutes, depending on the scanning array your vessel is using. These scans are quite important to me, and I will elaborate once you two complete the assignment. Getting in is not easy. You can't just take the trade lane. The Armed Forces have cordoned off the whole area as an anti-terrorist operation zone and are happy to shoot first and ask questions later. There's a few ways to get around it, but if you want to be sneaky, your best bet is to get in touch with blockade runners. For that, head over to Trafalgar Base and ask around there. That's what I ended up doing. There's a whole net of scouts and sensor probes keeping an eye on movements of the authorities, and they'll clue you in on when it's safe to go for a bit of cash.
Two trips through a minefield later, and I'm in and out of Molly territory with the hottest contraband in Bretonia. I made sure to take a different path back to Barrier Gate, and I think I managed to dodge any undue attention, but you never know.
Anyway, enjoy. I'll go get ready for that Gallic job.
