Can't join the discord - Madvillain - 10-13-2024
Hey guys,
When I try to join the official Discord, I'm getting the following error:
Whoops,
unable to accept invite
Now I think it has something to do with my discord account being hacked a few years back, causing some spam to be send to every single discord channel I'm in.... sorry for that.
Anyhow, is there a way to fix this problem?
My discord is Madvillain1

If you have a phone with Discord installed, does that work? It would be interesting to know this.

I tried to log into discord on my phone to check it out, only to realise i've forgotten my password, and I can't retrieve it because I need a security code, that needs

my password.
For now I yield to technology making my life ''easier'', and just made a second discord account for my phone.
obviously, with that new account I had no trouble joining the official discord

no, it sends a link to my email to change password.

congratz, just type in 8 digit recovery code to finalize.
to see your 8 digit recovery code you need your old password.
