Freeport 1 - Omega-3 : Sparks of tension have been ignited as a BMM-owned station, controversially named Aland Monument, come under attack by the by multiple groups lead by the Independent Miners Guild. The installation in question was located at the wreck of Aland Shipyard, formerly owned by the Guild. Bretonia Mining & Manufacturing claim that the station is in honor of those fallen in the notorious Operation Chrysalis, which was carried out by the Bretonia Armed Forces and the Crayter Republic. Eyewitnesses flying near the wreck have seen ships affiliated with BMM indiscriminately salvaging both Aland as well as the remains of ships lost in the fighting. The Guild claimed that this is a violation of the 826 Peace Agreement between Bretonia and the Guild. As the situation has calmed down it has become apparent that the force spearhead by the IMG have managed taken the station down.

Our trusted reporter Kris Jenkins was sent to learn more about this situation by asking the affiliated parties.

The IMG member that spoke with Jenkins confirmed the Mirror’s suspicions regarding the attack. According to our informant, the Guild intends, to quote her, "Aggressively deconstruct that mockery". When asked why the Aland Monument is a mockery, she responded: "They chased us out of our home and then dared to build a monument to spite us".
As for the CDI) commonly know as The Civil Defence Initiative was asked for their side our reporter was told "No comment"

As it is evident the Guild is out for blood, could this lead to a repeat conflict between these two parties? While we can only speculate, it remains a distinct possibility.
