Request for Services, Re: Base Deconstruction & Movement.
|
Greetings,
I am the head of operations for the Artemis Group.
Under the administration of my predecessor and under the name of The Artemis Alliance, some bases were purchased throughout Sirius.
It was thought at the time that these would be good purchases for possible use by the alliance or alternately, resale. One was lost outright to hostile criminal action, and the others have been disposed of at the direction of our Board of Directors. They were not as valuable assets as we had hoped, but we recouped our expenses.
The last remaining property in the Galileo system formerly known as Freeport 12 under the Zoners of Galileo, is believed to be the most valuable property in our portfolio, being the largest and most well equipped. We have not had much interest in the property due to it's current location. As such, we would like to initiate an engineering inquiry regarding the processes involved in modular deconstruction of the base to determine if base movement and reconstruction is an option which could help to make this property easier to sell given the recent surge of interest in larger bases for manufacturing.
I have reached out to your organizations due to your vast experience in modular constructions and heavy transport. Your engineering insights would be invaluable to realizing our desire to allow the recovery of this base at a profit to our association.
If you have an interest in providing engineering and logistical guidance to this effort, please respond to this office with any terms and fees you would require for providing such services.
Thank You for your Attention,
Capt. RedLegs.
CEO, The Artemis Group.

Guten tag herr RedLegs.
We at Daumann would be interested in hearing further details on your proposal. Heavy construction is our bread and butter, and this is definitively within our wheelhouse.

Greetings Ms. Tost and Mr. Reber,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
While we do not yet have a sales client for this base or an as yet known location for movement, we anticipate this as a potential eventuality with respect to the sale of this base. And rather than delaying any possible sale for these details to be ascertained, we consider it a worthwhile investment to determine and outline the logistical details in advance so that should such deconstruction and movement become a condition of the base's sale, we would be able to proceed with the process without delay.
The base in question is of the common modular configuration with which I'm sure you're intimately familiar.
What we seek is engineering and logistical analyses of the best processes for deconstruction and movement, which will include inter-system transits via jumpgates, working with the assumption that there will be some structural bracing needed and best ship types for transiting the different modules.
If you would also be interested in the actual movements phase of this project when it become necessary, we would glad to receive your proposals once any location details are ironed out.
Cordially,
Capt. RedLegs.
CEO, The Artemis Group.

We can certainly help with such a task. We will need an estimate on how far you foresee moving the installation, and at what timeframe. Shorter timeframes will require more engineering and equipment. As such, we'd like for you to provide a estimated budget for this move.
A short journey, might be possible as an complete installation, provided we take time to move it slowly and meticulously. However longer journeys we would advice to break down the installation into segments, and re-construct the installation at the end point. It is quicker, however require a lot more effort, equipment and manpower. As such, we reiterate the need for a estimated budget.
A finalized budget, equipment list and manpower requirement can be made later on when the finer details can be ironed out, once you find a potential buyer.
If you wish, we could send up a couple of engineers to validate the structure as-is, thus we can better provide tailor made solutions for your installation. Such a inspection/validation will cost you 50,000 (Fifty thousand) Cr should you wish to undertake it.
