Zaraki Kenpachi - Rommie - 05-16-2009

The main character is the anime character, without the sword and the powers that he had.He is a normal, 6'7 man, but still retains some incredible strength
It is not finished yet, but will be updated periodically

And so it begins...

Name: Zaraki Kenpachi
Date of Birth: November,19
Gender: Male
Height: 202cm (6'7 And a half ")
Weight: 90kg (198.4 lbs)

Zaraki Kenpachi was a well known Lieutenant in the Kusari Navy, mostly because his lust twards fights, may they be in space or on land, and his methods of interogating prisoners. If you wanted to find out any kind of info, he was the man to ask to.

He was a very imposing person, having an unusual height, bearing a scar that streched from his forehead to his chin, cutting over his left eye, while his right eye was covered by an eye patch.Everyone knew about the scar, where it came from, and even if some of them didn't knew, they would never had the guts to ask him.Nobody knew anything about the eye patch though.

Before joining the Kusarian Navy, he was a Mercenary, hunting down anyone that had a bounty that was worth it.He tracked his target down, and then, inevitably, they traded fire.Which was just the way he liked it.He enjoyed nothing else better than a good fight. After he tractored his catch, he usually fired up the automated pilot of his Eagle and take a nap while the ship folowed its trajectory to the station that was going to pay him.

Two days before joining the Kusari Navy, while being aboard the Deshima Station in a Monday morning, colling of his mind off in the bar, he was aproached by a small, thin man, about 25 years old, with a confident look on his face, wearing a high priced suit, obviously guarded by 2 big, thick headed guards. He was the one that delivered the high price "shots".The group of people that was "calling" the shots never sent the same deliver boy.He took a look around the bar, and he started to walk twards Zaraki. He noticed him, but he continued drinking his glass of booze. He was just raising the glass of booze twards his mouth when he pulled out a file from his suit and placed it in front of him.Zaraki looked down through his glass at the file, looking for the price, while the man was waiting next to his right.

*Name...what ever...,Age...doesn't matter...,Affiliation...bah, i don't give a damn about that...,...Was last seen around the Hokkaido System...,...Price: 4 Millions.* His eyes were hovering on that number written on the paper

*You got 2 days, Mr.Zaraki.* The man turned around and left the bar, only to be folowed by his trusty guards

*Yea, whatever....* Zaraki returned to his drink

Ten minutes after this, Zaraki was taking his nap while the ship was following the waypoints to the Hokkaido System. One half-hour later, he was awakened by the bright cloud refracting on his hull glass.

*God damn pink cloud...I was having a good dream...* He deactivated the autopilot and took the controls in his hand, heading to the centre of the cloud.Once there, he waited, and waited, and waited again, until his radar finnaly recognised the signature
of 6 Blood Dragon ships, one of them being the target.Zaraki hailed him

*Hey there, ricecake, you seem to be worth alot of cash.* Zaraki had his evil grinn on his face
*S**** you, mercenary!* The ricecake was delivering middle fingers and bad words trough the video link
*Thought so...* He said, closing the comms link

They're ships hurled at each other in a mad game of cat and mouse, every once in a while one of them being blown into pieces.Zaraki was enjoing every piece of they're hull. When finnaly only the 2 of them were left in the fight, Zaraki's radar picked up a dozen of fighters incoming on they're position. His body started to pump more and more adrenaline, thinking of what was going to come.Unfortunately, it didn't end as he planned. The Blood Dragons delivered much skilled fighters than they usually did.He managed to eject in time, knowing that he will be boarded to the closest base they could land on for interogation.

*Time to take a nap* He fell asleep with a large smile on his face

Zaraki Kenpachi - Rommie - 05-17-2009

How long has it been now? About two hours since he got cought. He slept all the this time.Guess it made things easier for them. But as far as he was concerned, they made mistakes. The first mistake of leaving him alone in the cell, without someone watching his actions. The second was that the room was enclosed phonicly. The third was that his hands weren't tied by any means. And that was a big mistake. Now, the cell was a large, square room, bearing Japanese symbols, probably scribbled by the prisoners, in they're last hours of life.In front of him, a metal table, the chair that he was sitting on, made of metal, of course.Strangely there wasn't a secondary chair. In the right corner in front of him, a large stain of blood, expanding over the entire corner. On the floor, another stain of blood, folowed by another one.Following the trace with his eyes, he turns in his chair, watching his behind.A large metal skeleton, with shackles on the ends. Two down, two on the sides, one up.It was covered in blood, and shreads of clothes.Strangely there was no smell.

The door finnaly opened, letting in 4 mans. One of them, Zaraki recognised. It was his target. He was carrying one of they're swords. Now, Zaraki knew that Kusarian swords were the best of the best at slashing. And that was a grim thought. The other 3 were most likely bodyguards.Good thing they were not carying swords

*Sorry to keep you waiting, mercenary. Now, have you ever heard of the Triads?*Zaraki didn't show any expression on his face.

*Well, let me tell you then. The Triads were the biggest organized crime in the ancient Earth. It was an entire organised crime society. They were involved into any possible means of making money..But the most interesting part is the torture they applied to they're enemies. One thousand cuts to the body, but making sure they avoided any major arteries, so that the victim was still alive when it was buried. You re about to experience your first cut.*He seemed to like literature.

While saying this, he pulled out the sword and he quickly said something in Kusarian. It ment "Raise him." Zaraki immediately turned his eyes to the metal skeleton. The guards were preparing the shackles.Basicly what they did was to open them. Now they were turning to Zaraki. He turned back. They grabbed him. That was the fourth and final mistake.
He smiled.

*I bet you can't wait to start right, Ricecake?* The Blood Dragon couldn't pretend that he didn't like the idea of making Zaraki suffer.
*Well then, lets enjoy ourselves, shall we?*

Zaraki leaned back and kicked the table twards the Ricecake, breaking the bolts that were keeping it on the ground. The table hit the Ricecake, making him fall on the ground, and hit his head to the floor. With a quick move, the chair that he was sitting on became a deadly set of spears, in one of the guards chest. The second guard was introduced to one of the shackes. Now it was deep inside his neck. The third guard's head was now looking backwards. All of this happened in 10 seconds.

Zaraki was now heading for the door when he heard the table move.Just as he turned his head twards it, his right eye saw red.The Ricecake aparently didn't lose his concensness. He took a deep cut on Zaraki's face, stretching vertically over his right eye.The unfortunate Blood Dragon lost his life, 3 seconds later, sword sticking out of his chest.

Zaraki steped through the door.By the looks of it, he was somewhere down the lower levels. He headed to the left, slowly walking to what looked like a stair.Blood was pouring out of his wound, reducing his eye sight.Finnaly he reached the stairs. He headed as up as the stairs might go.Steping out, he saw his ship.Well, what was left of it.He recognised the plating, the guns that were lying around, and his cockpit. He took the Id and the rest of the gizmoz that made his ship a mercenary ship. The rest was a bunch of scrap by now.He heard steps.Quickly, he ducked under a frame.A worker was taking his ship apart. He looked like he knew what he was doing. He sneaked behind him, and bashed him in the head with one of his tools. To the left, he saw a bunch of blurred silhouettes. The blood was covering his eye.He needed some treatment. He headed to the right. After passing through a bunch of rooms filled with scrap parts from ships, he finnaly reached a small hangar.Nobody inside, at least that's what it looked like.He jumped in one of the ships, barely seeing something, he removed the ID from it and replaced them with the parts with his own ship.He took the controls and headed to the docking bay.The automated doors started to open.As soon as they did, he hit cruise and headed into space.

All he saw now was that he was flying through a dark blue cloud. That was good news and bad news at the same time.Good because it ment that the wound stoped bleeding.Bad because he didin't knew where he was.Blue could of been Shikoku or Honshu, but dark blue didn't ring any bells.Though Zaraki was struck by luck today. The ship he took was a Dragon.By the looks of it, it belonged to a scout, a spy in the Blood Dragon's ranks, flying a civilian ship, spying for them on the Blood Dragons' enemies. That meant that it had the way in and the way out of the system. All he did was to place the waypoints to Hokkaido, and from there to Deshima. That was the only safe place he could think of right now.He hit the autopilot and fell asleep.

Zaraki Kenpachi - Rommie - 05-17-2009

The trip took about two hours. When he reached Deshima, he was immediately taken to medical.Ten minutes after this, he was visited by a familiar person. The one that gave him the files about his target, back at the bar.Of course, he was followed by the same thick-headed guards. He looked very irritated.

*You failed, Mr.Zaraki.The target managed to send the data just about three hours ago.*

*Oh, so that was all the "sorry to keep you waiting" deal.Wait, what data? I didn't knew anything about no data...*

*That's because you never red all the files did you?* He was getting increasingly pissed

*Well, i didn't because you didn't tell me to read it all.Plus, there was plenty of crap to read until i got to that part of the file anyways. And i don't spend time reading crap.*

*It doesn't matter anymore now. You're fired. You have been striped from your Mercenary ID, it was replaced with a Civilian ID.Oh, the ship you brought was inspected. It allso will be confiscated, because we found Blood Dragon papers, lists, and plenty of other things to incriminate you.I believe you don't want that. And neither do we.Too much bad reputation, even for us.You got away due to your record in the help of the Kusari Navy.Still, you were fined all of that 1 million credits you had in your account.I hope we will never meet again.* He turned back and left the room in a hurry, followed closely by the thick-headed guards.

Zaraki closed his eyes.He needed rest.

The next day, he was back at the bar, looking at his glass of booze. He was thinking of ways to get a ship.Stealing it would be a bad idea from the very start. This is a Bounty Hunter station after all.He would never make it out of the docking bay.

While thinking, he didn't notice 2 Kusari Navy officers heading twards him.

*Zaraki Kenpachi, i presume.*

*Why do you presume things? Either you are sure, or you don't have any ideea about who I am.Presuming things will get you killed faster than you can say "presume"* The cold tone of his voice made the things he was saying have a deep impact on the young officer

He turned to the 3 officers. One of them was around his mid 20's, a pretty slim man.The other two looked like they just came out of the gym.Looked like the younger one was doing the talking, while the other 2 were guards. Now the young one was starting to loose his composure.Picking himself up, he continued.

*Your record says that you lost your job.Is that true?* The younger officer tried to say it in a less direct way.He was obviously not feeling so good in the presence of Zaraki.

*I got fired.Where are you trying to get, kid?*

*Well, we are recruiting men for a special assignment.* He was starting to talk faster and faster.Whoever sent him to speak to Zaraki really made a bad choice.

*Well good for you! Now, you're disturbing me from my drink*

Seeing where this is getting, one of the guards took control

*We need to go sir.NOW* Apparently, unlike the younger fellow, he wasn't getting intimidated by a 6'7" And-a-half man.

*Bah, very well.I'm wasting time here anyway.Might as well go see this special assignment of yours.* He decided to play along.Leaving his drink behind, he followed the 3 officers. At least now he had a job.

Zaraki Kenpachi - Rommie - 05-20-2009

Zaraki boarded the officers ship to Planet New Tokyo. After entering the atmosphere, he saw that they were not landing in the usual spot where all other ships landed.Still, this was all police buisness, so he decided not to do anything about it.After a strange trip on the surface of New Tokyo, they reached to what looked like a bunker.Outside, plenty of Kusari Navy's boys, enough to put to rest
an entire House.Gladly that wasn't the case.

Following the officers, Zaraki was walked to an elevator. They went down, and after 10 seconds they were at what looked like a underground spy research facility.Actualy, that's what he red on the wall.He followed them forward, he followed them to the left, to the left again, forward again and finnaly they reached a door.Heavily reinforced one, made to resist even if the bunker was destroyed in pieces. The guards walked him in, and locked him inside.Behind the desk, a fat man in his 40's that ran a large part of the Navy.Maybe all of it.

*Mr. Zaraki Kenpachi.I was waiting to meet you. Please have a seat.* He took the seat, but he felt something under him when he sat down.It was a file, certanly the reason he was here.

*That is the reason i had you called here.*

*Obviously.* He opened the envelope.Inside, the details of a mission. He was to join the Kusari Navy to be transported into Liberty as a transfered Kusari Navy lieutenant, working for the Liberty Navy.

*We are trying to learn more about the Outcasts. You see Mr.Zaraki, we have not been very succesfull in stopping the Blood Dragons. Therefore, we must learn more about they're allies so we can beat them. That's where you come in our aid.* The man's tone sounded like an order.Zaraki didn't like that.

*First of all, I didn't except that.Second, why would I care about Blood Dragons anyway?I knew you had a job for me, but I'm not going to be your snitch.*He stood up, and headed for the door.

*Your file says you are currently unemployed, is that correct?*Zaraki continued walking.*Do this for me, and I'll see that you will get your job as a mercenary back*He stopped in front of the door.

*You set me up?*Zaraki started walkin twards him, visibly pissed off.He grabbed the man's neck, and lifted him up.*And what made you thing I would take this snitch job of yours?*He showed a large smile while strangling him.

*Face it, you got now future now that you are broke. You will do it, I'm sure of it.*While talking, he reached for a button on his desk, raising an alarm.A dozen of soldiers rushed inside in seconds.Zaraki whispered in his ear.*I'm gonna come back. And when I will, you better call more soldiers than you did now.Cuz' there will be lots of blood.*He took the file and walked out, passing through the soldiers that moved out of his way.

Reading the file on his way out, it looked like he was going to spend plenty of time in the Liberty.Undefined.Bah, I just hope those Liberty Navy boys have good ships. He went to his quarters, closed the door, and took a long nap.

Zaraki Kenpachi - Rommie - 05-22-2009

*Get up, get up, get up!!!*The sound of soldiers starting to run aroun the bunker could of been heard from a long distance away.To some it might of been refreshing to hear them singing around, to others, Zaraki included, it was not.He saw it as a worthless thing.--Why would someone sing around, disturbing people that might want to get some more sleep?--While thinking this dilemma, he got ready for his new job.He pinned the file on the door, so that when he would exit his quarters, he wouldn't forget it.It's not like he wouldn't want to forget it, its just that he might need it.

*Lieutenant Zaraki Kenpachi, please report to the docking bay*The comms were shouting.

*Time to go...*He took his flight bag and left the quarters.

Heading for the docking bay, he couldn't help of notice a pack of Liberty Navy soldiers exiting a ship that wasn't there yesterday.Zaraki reached the docking bay.Basically, a large platform coming out of the ground, whose floor was covered with circuits and stabilisers. It had a stair that helped you reach the ship.He saw a group of people talking in a corner of the bay.He went to them.Apparently, they didn't observed him.He coughed once, twice. No sign of them seeing him. They were talking about him, but still, they didn't saw him standing next ot them.So he stepped into the face of the sun.His shadow was now covering them, waking them up.Frightened, they looked to the source of this strange shadow. And they were terrified.A tall man, bearing a scar on his right eye, and an eye patch on the other one.Aparently they never saw him before.

*Did anyone call for me?* His calm but dark, quiet tone was all the officers needed

*Y-Y-Yes...Y-You are Mr. Zaraki Kenpachi, the mercenary?* One of the officers finnaly opened his mouth

*Well what do you think?* He flashed the Liberty Navy badge into his face

*T-This way...* He followed the officer, leading him to an Armored Transport. He climbed aboard

*This ship will take you to Liberty.I wish you good fortune, sir* He quickly closed the door behind him, and started to breathe in an accelerated rithm. It was like he just escaped death itself.Zaraki smiled.

The inside of the Armored Transport was actually a pretty confortable one.Still, there were 5 soldiers in there. He took his seat, and examined each of the soldiers faces. They looked like they knew each other. The 1st one, looked bored. Can't blame him, guarding is a boring job.The 2nd one was looking scared. His face was all white, and was breathing intensely, while trying not to look at Zaraki. He continued to the next soldier. This one was a girl.Strange job for a woman, guarding a man.She really didn't look like she cared about what was going to happen to him.Still, she looked like she cared for her friends next to her.Funny.The 4th soldier was looking like he just escaped sick-bay.His face looked very tired, and he looked like he could throw up any minute. The 5th soldier was of a highier rank aparently. He managed to keep his composure, while still looking like a soldier, and not a crybaby. He switched the view to the window. The ship was exiting New Tokyo's atmosphere.

The ship activated docking sequence. It was starting to shake harder and harder, until it suddenly calmed down. They were in the docking ring now, traveling at an imense speed. And colision now, and they would be history.Luckily, the trade lane rings push out any asteroids or any scrap passing though them.

The ship was slowing down.No hostiles yelling "FIRE" over the comms.Nobody yelling anything acctually. They didn't spoke to one another since he climbed aboard.Something happened.A strange sound coming from his north. The 2'nd soldier throwed up.Luckily the 3'rd soldier managed to pass him a bag to him before he would flood the Transport.Smart thinking, bringing barfing bags with you on a space trip. She looked at the 2'nd soldier worried, but noticing she was seen, she switched back to looking at the wall.

A half hour passed now, and they were in Shikoku, passing Deshima. This bringed back memories. Not so happy ones though.

Finnaly, they were in Colorado.Liberty Space Deffinetly.A bunch of Lpi ships fighting off some Rogues, 2 Trade ships scouting ahead in the distance. They began docking sequence.Zaraki looked up to the 2nd soldier. He looked like he couldn't wait to get off the transport. His face was still white.Damn, this kid looked like he never flew in his life.Unfortunatley, there was still the way back into Kusari.Unless he decided to stick around Liberty Space.

The Transport finnaly arrived in New York.An overcrowded system, bunch of Dread's flying around, followed by Cruisers, Gunboats, and a bunch of Fighters. They exited the trade lane ring. The transport was just a few km's away from the Manhattan docking ring, when it was distrupted by 3 Liberty Rogue Gunboats, followed by 2 Bombers and 4 Fighters, coming from behind.

They opened the comms channel

*Kusari Navy Armored Transport, you are in Liberty Rogue space now.Surrender your cargo hold or we will destroy you.* The comm's remained open, waiting for an answer. They got one, but it wasn't what they wanted.

*This is the Liberty Navy Cruiser LNS Quebec.Liberty Rogue Fleet, this Armored Transport falls under the protection of the Liberty Navy. You will not destroy it.*

A Liberty Cruiser Folowed by 4 Gunboats and dozen of Fighter wings exited the trade lane ring next to Newark. They engaged cruise engines and headed into a head to head combat. The only problem was that the Transport was catched between them. The pilot quickly hit cruise and pointed the ship up, escaping the clash of titans that was going on behind them.

*Oh yes we will. But first we will take you down first.*

In the Transport, the 2nd guarding Zaraki was barely doing a good job guarding himself. The rest though, looked like they were ready to protect him.Not the he needed it.So Zaraki looked behind, at the fight.

In the folowing seconds, the Cruiser opened fire, heavily damaging one of the Rogue Gunboats, which was finished off by one of the Navy Gunboats. The remaining 3 Navy Gunboats and 2 Rogue Gunboats engaged each other, the Navy leaving the fight with a Gunboat that couldn't use its forward cannon.Navy's fighters quickly took out the bombers, followed by the fighters, from which ony 1 crippled fighter managed to escape alive.

The transport docked on Manhattan.Zaraki headed for the exit of the ship when he was cutted off by the 2nd soldier. He didn't stop running until he reached the bathroom.Zaraki headed for the bar.

Zaraki Kenpachi - Rommie - 08-14-2009

Because his special asignment, he was given control of a Liberty Cruiser. It was pretty beaten up, so it took him about 5 months to make it fly-able.

Five months later.Magma Gazer's first flight.Zaraki headed for Norfolk shipyard. He needed crewmen to fly this thing, and Norfolk Shipyard is the gather point for all ships, wrecked or still runing.

One week later.Zaraki allready killed 4 gunboats and 2 cruisers.Allready he was known for his fighting skills.

2 months later. The Magma Gazer was patroling around the Missiouri. It looked like a boring day until the comms opened:

*All ships, this is Control, we have nomad sightings between Fort Bush and Manhattan.Class of ships:Unknown. All available ships proceed to designated location.*

10 minutes passed and the nomads were allready cornered.4 fighters, a gunboat, a cruiser, even a battleship showed up, because of the unknown class ship the nomads were flying.

The battleship opened comms:

*Nomad fighters, you are a threat to the Liberty population.Be ready, we will kill you.2 fighters, engage the nomads.*

Two fighters engaged as ordered.

The fight was going good, the Liberty pilots were gaining on the nomads, until one of them telepathically gained cotrol of one of the fighters.

*Anihilate...*Thats the only words the pilot spoke before she closed the comms and started shooting at the other liberty pilot. Before he could understand what was going on, he was automaticaly ejected into space. His ship turned to scrap.

Zaraki, allready bored of this fight, couldn't stay and watch this.

*That's it, i can't watch no more.Get ready, jelly, I'm coming for you!*

*Magma Gazer, this is Control, you were not authorised to engage.Dissengage and return to your position.*

*Negative* Zaraki closed his comms

One pulse cannon and a razor, and one of the jelly's was flying through space.Coincidentally, he was the one who gained control of the liberty pilot. Now with one fighter on his back, he turned his weapons to the other nomad fighter. As he was about to shoot him, the torpedo alarm sounded.

*Capitan, we have a supernova headed our way!.Engaging countermeasures*

However, the supernova was too close to avoid contact with the ship. With the shields half drained, the comms opened:

*LNS Magma Gazer, you will not kill any more Spirits.Prepare to die.*

Two Outcast fighters and a bomber started to shoot at the cruiser.Zaraki opened fire on the bomber. The Outcasts' Inferno's were doing a good job at crushing the cruiser's shields. The bomber started to dodge, but he was quickly hit by the fighter's Mini Razor and Magma Hammers. One of the fighters was blinded by the light of caused by the bomber's explosion and stalled. Zaraki fired a missle, and the fighter was destroyed.

*Control, allow another fighter to engage, so we can remove the cruiser from the fight.* The battleship opened the comms*

*Affirmative, LNS Aurora. You are to send another fighter to engage, and order Magma Gazer to retreat.*

The newly sent fighter engaged.Zaraki opened the comms:

*I don't know why you sent another fighter, but I'm not going to dissengage.* He closed the comms afterwards.

The new fighter quickly made a difference. The nomad was turned into space dust shortly after.

*I am overwhelmed and overpowered.Dissengaging.* The Outcast fighter engaged cruise and headed to Rochester.

*Oh no you don't!You wanted to fight, now stand and fight.* Zaraki ordered CD's to be fired. The fighter engaged thruser flight, followed by Zaraki. The fighter's thrusers allowed highier speeds. He quickly exited turets' range.Zaraki kept of following him until he reached Rochester.

*I can't wait to fight you again, pansy Outcast* He engaged cruise and headed to Manhattan.

As soon as he landed, his ship was confiscated, and after 1 month of trial, he was fired from the Capitan position. They told him that, if not for his assignment, he would have rotten in jail for disobeying a direct order. He was given a civilan ship, and his last salary.

Now free, Zaraki headed to space.
