Hello Universal Management,

Let me start with the brass tacks. The Liberty Navy is in need of your shipping services.

Now for the introductions - I am Julius Fox, a Liberty Navy Reserve Fleet Commander of an ever expanding modular station, Plano Outpost, located in the Texas system. The Outpost is home to a newly constructed shipyard of moderate capabilities which acts as an ancillary facility to Norfolk, taking orders of a lower priority so that capacity at Norfolk is freed. As I am sure you are aware, shipbuilding is a costly and complex business with many moving parts. Our Navy and Ageira technicians have sounded the alarm on the station's reactor capacity, which is nearing its limits with the recent completion of the yard - they require material support to continue fine-tuning and upgrading the reactor, and in addition to the shipwrights work orders... the requests are piling up on my desk.

Logistics are, clearly, a main concern - thus leading me to seek Universal's services. I had heard of your subsidiary's establishment and reorganization through the grapevine of contacts I have with Ageira, Interspace, and the Government of Liberty itself. The Navy pursues a "Liberty First" policy of patronizing Liberty corporations over any foreign interests, and as our contract with both Ageira and DSE have concluded, we are in need of a new servicer for the logistics needs of the Outpost.

Our required supplies and the exact location of Plano Outpost are attached. I am willing to accept a partial contract if some of the goods are unavailable or otherwise inaccessible for Universal. Let me know your price for each of the listed goods with delivery and I will run them up the chain and counter, if necessary, but I expect you folks know your business. Thank you for your consideration.

In Service to the Republic,
Administrator & Commander Julius Fox, Plano Outpost, Texas System

Re: Shipping contract

Ah, hello again.

The delay is no trouble. I would imagine that setting up a new subsidiary is no quick or easy task. Being buried in paperwork is a familiar feeling for me, so I can commiserate. I'm told by my superiors that Plano's licensure for level four reactor operation is in the midst of the red-taped bureaucratic hell in the Government offices in any case, so the pause was welcome. The Ageira and LSF eggheads on board will have to be patient a little longer to install their shiny new toys, they'll survive the wait.

Regardless, I have sent your contract up the chain to the Budget office, the Materiel Command, and my superiors. I am pleased to report that they have recently sent a comprehensive analysis back to me, in short, finding your contract more than acceptable, and indeed a far better deal than we could have achieved from any competitor, foreign or domestic.

I have given a copy of the document to our flight deck officer, he will make sure your deliveries are logged and your pilots get the compensation owing to them. I have also directed flight deck control to assign a trusted frequency to USC| thus allowing your corporate vessels with this transponder quick and seamless docking and unloading access.

Please let me know if anything is amiss when you arrive and I shall see to personally that the issue is sorted out. Otherwise, the signed and reviewed contract follows. Thank you.

In Service to the Republic,
Administrator & Commander Julius Fox, Plano Outpost, Texas System

Commander Fox,

I bid you good day sir. I am pleased to report a 99% completion rate of the agreed upon contract. All the materials you requested have been shipped. However, I was informed by your dock master upon offloading my final shipment that the stations cargo bays are filled to capacity. As a result, my crew is unable to offload the final 1,465 units of Titanium. I will remain docked until your people can clear out enough space to receive the material.

Re: Shipping contract

Good day, Ms. Wilcox

My apologies, yes - our stores are filled to the brim with your deliveries. I have looked over and it seems everything is in order, except for of course the missing titanium. Our crew has already begun disbursing the supplies hither and thither through the station to their destinations. The Ageira folks were especially happy to get their hands on those next-generation Optronics, you've made their day - their week perhaps. I am told by the storage deck coordination officer that there ought to be enough space now after the Ageira experts had their fill of optronics, along with the monthly ALG pickup and disposal operation of the waste our reactor produces.

After the last thousand or so units of titanium are delivered, I believe we can consider this contract concluded. Universal certainly does not betray their reputation for punctuality, I am very pleased.

With Regards,
Administrator & Commander Julius Fox, Plano Outpost, Texas System
