Guten tag, mein freund.
It is my hope that this finds you well. I have since returned to Rheinland, and sought out maintenance to see to the seeming sustained internal damage to my vessel. Some kind of intermittent fault within her communications array. She is now, of course, in full working order, right in time for an unfortunate absence in my participation in that drink for the time being.
I am out of town for awhile, some urgent family matters to assist with. Hopefully it will not take as long as it did for me to find your private line, though that was in part to do with the issue I mentioned. Something tells me that the next opportunity we get to have that drink will be a fair while, yet we will still both await that day almost eagerly. A shame that I must, but this is surely the way that Fate intends us to part for the time being. Remember always this; Take only the risks that both are outweighed by the reward and that you can sustain the worst case scenario of. Live by this, and you shall not go far wrong.

I hope this delayed message finds you in good health, both you and your ship. I am glad that you have managed to return safely to Rheinland after receiving damage, which seems to be a running theme with you, along side with giving me a good scare everytime. I hope you do know that the amount of times /that/ can happen and you pushing your luck is not like it used to be, but I guess you might know better or not care anymore, and if it's the case for the latter then you should consider who you are hurting when you put that mantle on.
Now regarding what you have said, I hope that your familly is going to be ok and of course I will wait as long as we need for that drink, I just hope that the long is not that long and the far is not that far. And in the mean time I promise I will work on what you have told me, however I do expect to see you sooner or later and hope that this wasn't an abandon or goodbye message.
