[Code] Tau-23 waypoint problem. - Amethran - 12-06-2024

Type: Systems
Bug: If you set a waypoint which goes through Tau-23, the waypoint which is in the gate itself don't get cleared automatically.

Reproduction Steps:
  • Set up a waypoint which goes through Tau-23 from Languedoc or Tau-31
  • Go through the gate
  • See that the next waypoint is inside the gate.

A known, very old bug, it happens in systems that have a jumpgate but no trade lanes. No one managed to crack it yet, as it’s related to waypoint pathfinding rather than something as simple as relocating the jumpgates.

Closing, as I doubt the waypoint pathfinding code will change anytime soon, especially for such an obscure bug.
