My New Freelancer Character - guitarguy - 05-17-2009
Basically, I just got a starflea nearly repfixed for Freelancers with the ID. Now I don't know what ship to get. I thought about a Sabre initially, but I've been flying VHFs and bombers since I started playing, so I want to diversify to LFs or SHFs.
Here's what I've thought of so far:
-<strike>Crow (I've heard it's not that great)
-Griffin (Again, haven't heard that much good about it)</strike>
-Arrow (Seems underpowered)
-Scimitar (This was the first ship that came to mind, seems decent enough)
-SHFs (Don't know much about the civilian ones)
Thoughts?

Be different - fly the Som Taw SHF. Think you can buy it on Freistadt base, omega 7.

The Scimitar is as sharp as the name suggests, being the only LF with 4 gun slots and a turret class 5 slot that can fire forward. I believe that in the right hands it's a beast, so yeah, this is my suggestion.
The Crow makes you cry, honestly.
As for SHFs, there are only two available for civilians at the moment, and they're not that great (one being a homeworld ship, and the other..well.. not exactly the type of ship you'd take into combat.)
