A Starship Scanner that identifies objects at longer ranges
Starfliers Research Project

Many cartography reports have been recorded under the Starfliers, only until recently have they obtained the latest in Kishiro's latest and greatest scanner technology. The Starfliers see a next step in evolution of the scanner, to add in a module to obtain information of objects in space at greater distances. This is designed to increase efficiency of their Cartography Report generation. Offloading the time requirement of a Pilot's life to the work of technological prowess.

This scanner will be functionally the same as the Kishiro Scanner, except it will have the silent benefit of obtaining information of all objects within the game at 15k distance rather than 10k. This means "Unknown Station" becomes "Freeport 14" at 15k instead of 10k. The scanner will be PoB buildable, exclusive to the Starfliers and have it's own name and infocard as part of the custom equipment. .
