Mein Herrs, war is upon our great House.
Oberleutenant Herst of the Procurement Office contacted our Corporate Headquarters
three days ago and asked that Republican Express turned its shipyard, Alster, into
a wartime production plant. He asked for numbers and how many capital class
warships we could deliver each month.
After consulting with senior management of Alster, we would be happy to offer our
facilities for Rheinland Military use, at the lowest cost possible.
Within 27 Standard Days we could begin production of Cruisers, with the first one
becoming spaceworthy 15 days after that. Seven more days would be required for the
final fitting and testing.
It would take us 45 Standard Days to begin production of Battleship class vessels,
and the keel fully laid out 39 days after that. Within four weeks a fully armed
and operational battleship would become yours.
We were told that the factories on Nurenburg would be sufficient for the current
gunboat demand, but we could begin production of those as well.
Cruisers would be completed every 25 days, and Battleships are under 3 months. Our
dockworkers are among the most skilled in Rheinland, and Alster has been producing
vessels for Rheinland for hundreds of years.
Gunboats are already ready for production and can be picked up every week.
On to costs. The current economic climate has driven prices for all war related
materials up, but we believe, with our superior shipping and infrastructure
capabilities, that we can offer better priced ships then any other competitor.
Each gunboat's total cost is 44,000,000 credits. This includes our new propriatary
electronics system that enhances reaction time and reaction speed.
For each cruiser, it will be a base cost of 208.000.000 credits. This includes all
essential ship systems, and basic hull armor. Weaponry can be supplied for an
additional fee, but that is not our area of expertise.
Battleships will run 770.000.000 credits, with an upgraded sensor suite that
Republican has developed, at great cost to itself.
I remind you, mein herrs, that these are deeply discounted prices, and Republican
will make no credits from producing these ships. But it is for our House.
You will find that Alster ships are among the best built ships in all of Sirius,
and will fight for our House with extreme Valor.
