Licensing - LL-Renaissance - Karst - 02-16-2025

To whom it may concern;

My name is Edwin Pennybrooke, I run an independent travel company operating across the colonies.
I noticed that at some point in what must have been the somewhat recent past, ships of Bretonian manufacture were classified as restricted technology by the Union.
I'm saddened by that development, Even during the times of the Kingdom, I had always appreciated the simplicity and mostly laissez-faire approach of your legal system. Despite the difficult history since, I was proud to be among the earliest Sirians who established commercial operations after the breach of the minefields, and since neither side saw fit to embargo passenger travel even at the height of the war, I had good business moving travelers to and from the Kingdom.

I'd like to continue these operations and do so under the current licensing system.
My company operates just one vessel, the LL-Renaissance, and we carry only passengers and some associated amenities. We are not affiliated with any larger enterprise or any government.
The destinations of our "cargo" are manifold but often include routes not serviced by larger companies, Orbital Spa & Cruise in particular. There's always been a notable demand for travel to remote locations from Gallic citizens not serviced otherwise.
I wish to license my Gloriette-class liner, and although the vast majority of passenger travel out of and into the Union goes via the Alsace corridor, I would like to open the option of traveling via the Taus as well.

Subject: Access Request/Technology Request

Bonjour Monsieur Pennybrook,

Everything seems to be in order, and while we would normally not be accepting of Bretonian made ships, I think we can allow access for a ship that is well known among those of us that are still part of the old bureaucracy. Both requests have been accepted, you may enter Gallia at your discretion.

Au revoir,

The Gallic Union Licensing & Permits Office
