My name is Marc Peterson, I am the engineer in chief. The commander of the war vessel Secunda asked me to contact you for two tasks. The first one is to actually make our hangar operational. While the Secunda is freshly new of two years and with the story of the 'Blackout' it is not quite fully on service yet even if it is stantionned near Nauru. The commander also seeks to have a cloaking device.

Here's my questions, can you accomplish the following tasks? And my second question, how much will it cost?

Yes, it requires a new acquisition of the said equipment.

While I am aware of the enormous task ahead, I need to know how much it will cost. I know the AP Manufacturing covers most of what we ask for, but with what happened with Mars... the commander fears the cost that he needs to cover.

We understand that this is not a simple decision, but currently, our repair facilities are fully occupied due to the damages that Core ships have sustained in Omicron Zeta and Omicron Kappa. Consequently, the rental of dry dock space is the third most costly item.

Furthermore, the cloaking device is a highly complex system whose installation requires extensive modifications to the energy distribution networks aboard your vessel. Safety regulations to ensure the maximum reliability of combat vessels require a complete review of the modified system to prevent any unexpected complications in combat situations far from the nearest base.
Theoretically, it is possible to bypass this procedure if the deployment of your vessel is an absolute priority for the rescue of Core personnel or equipment.

However, if these revisions cannot be performed, AresTech Arms & Manufacturing cannot legally guarantee the faultlessness of the installed system, although our staff will strive to ensure its utmost functionality.

If we omit all the revision tests related to your hangar and fighter magazines, assuming they will be completed later, the total cost would be 14,170,000 credits.

If the hangar systems are not installed at all, then the resulting price will be 12,570,000 credits.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer further discounts. The pricing for newly constructed cloaking devices for large capital ships falls well within the range we specified.

Similarly, the time required to reserve capacity on the already overburdened Durban is a fixed necessity for us.

While used cloaking devices could certainly be considered, we advise upgrading their cybersecurity protocols to the latest generation. This is especially crucial if your vessel is to be equipped with or is expected to encounter rogue Gammu AIs, to prevent accidents similar to the Mars Incident; this is in accordance with directives from the Board.
