My friend and I on seperate computers, far away from each other, and at different time installed freelancer,mod manager etc. He has been playing for a while and i just started to play again. Following his intructions while in ventrillo together I installed mod manager, then discovery 4.854 (beta 4) and activated in in mod manager. When I launched it asked me to install beta 7, so I did. After dling beta 7 without issue it launched freelancer. My friend not having played in a week or so also let it download beta 7. Moral of the story is, neither of us can connect to a server because the list is unpopulated. Any ideas?

Yes. Some freak attacked the server. Please be patient. Although not many of us are.
