LNS question. - Dashiell - 05-29-2009

I`ve been thinking about creating a liberty cruiser. mostly for rp-purposes since there are already a LOT of liberty caps roaming around.

so in order not to mess anything up, I need some clarification.

the LNS is the collection of indie liberty caps and can be joined freely right?
then you register the ship in this thread http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39013 et voila?

Yes, essentially. LNS is just a tag to show your role, and ship. The registration is something in-RP so that your ship won't appear as "stolen".

allright, thanks

Sadly enough the LNS have made the tag to be simmilar that of a "lolwut". If you could make a seperate char name and post a rp story, im sure you wouldnt be counted as a rouge captain.

true enough, but I don`t like a liberty cruiser without a tag. same reason saxophile gave.

I`ll slap an LNS tag on it IF I decide to get one. try to get some proper LNS rp.
I`ve seen good LNS-ies around.

LNS = Liberty Navy Ship

Registration is not required.
None of my independant capitals are registered.
If you work with people, they will know who you are and the registry isn't needed really (On the idea that it is used to see who's around or who's who, not for nefarious reasons of course...)

So yes, slap the LNS thing on if you want and play on.
Not every ship has an amazing backstory to it.
Unless we are all the USS Enterprise that is.

one more question: is there a LN code of conduct somewhere?

Namely what caps can and more importantly can`t do?

for example, can a cruiser stop smugglers hauling counterfeit software etc.

LNS question. - VincentFerrex - 05-30-2009

Cruisers can't stop smugglers, it's against server rules, mate.:P

I do believe there's a code-of-conduct thing lying around. I just don't know where.
