I know im new here . but i have a couple of requests , that i think would be reasonable .
#1 the server , needs more server slots , i dont think , its a server lag problem with the crashes. 40 server slot would probly handle it ok.
#2 this would help the forum out some ..
eathier have a shout box , or a cgri script , like a live chat box , some where on the site. This Could be used for genral Chat , as well as Helping with Problems or other Ishues.
Just a sujestion , thats my 2 cents worth.

We had the server at 42, but the server lagged and crashed even then.
The only way I'm putting that back to even 40 is if I get the new RAM i had ordered in there. It hasn't arrived (backordered), and until then its put up or shut up unfortunately.

1. Cant. The server can not handle any more slots without crashing. ( Oops, Wolfpack posted before me )
2. That aculy sounds really good. A Discovery Freelancer chat room. I have a few scripts for that aculy. If the admins want to go with that I will look them up and post them here.

yah for alot of the forums , ive been on , and had something to do with..
the shout box idea , (chat thing) or simular , seems to go over well.
And its compatable with the php exc..
it just a sujestion , as it would save time for pm exc...

It'd be nice to have, but it's just extra stuff for the moderators and stuff to take care of. But, the forums wouldn't be so crowded, as more talks would happen on the chat. But we'd have to have a history, so ppl could see what was said before they logged on.

But the chat idea is perfect. A great way to plan RP events. Talk about factions rules, and just catching up with some friends. Also helps with people who don't like xfire. I think it is a perfect idea.

Usually, chat kills forums.... no one posts when they can just go chat.
It might not happen here, but it would be the first time I've seen it.
