No mods other than Discovery may be used according to the rules.
In actuality, there is no gameplay implications that affect others.
So it's fine really. It's like listening to your own music with FL music off, only difference is direct integration, which is nice.
So, I'd say go ahead. I don't see how they can (or should) stop you really.
