Hello thier , Im not sure realy if this is a rule here or not But:
Sence this server is full 99% of the time , i have noticed alot of people Just sit on the server Idealing away, for long Periods of time :\ , And filling a player Slot . Now Just a sujestion , as with a server used as much as this one .. Im reccomending , if its not a rule that it become 1 , and that a message on the freelancer Consol in server in game , come up , With a message , of the rule , No Idealing for more than 10 mins or so. Or be kicked. or Something like that .
Its more or less more cutious to other players who want to play , as to not be able to connect on a full server, and the idealer , just stay on server while he gos out to eat , or whatever. & worse if hes idealing away with the Job board open exc..
Just a idea , Im %70 sure some would agree. , a few mins Idealing is fine .. but 1/2 hour or so , on busy times . I feel its not.

Totally agree.... base camping just to ensure you stay on Disco while you eat or take a cr*p is just evil. IMO players should get kicked after 5min of inactivity.

I added that message to Ioncross several days ago, but as we are not running IFSO, the message cannot be displayed.

I think that your idea is good. However, 10min is too short...

This works pretty well. Also, something that may be a little easier: If you think you're going to idle, or if you have absolutely nothing to do, but just sitting there, maybe log off;)but I think most players do a pretty good job at this already:)

I agree with elgatodiablo. Its a good idea. But should be like 20 mins.
Because every now and then you will be call off Freelancer for real life stuff and your going to want to come back to it. And your going to find that you have been kicked. So ya I would say 20 mins.

I live in a huge wreck of a house, and it takes me +3min to walk to the door, the +3 to walk back, not including talking to people in between.
And if its the mailman...I'm back to wishing I had a golf cart parked at the front door.
btw, dboy, just gato or diablo is fine.

There is an option, I believe on IFSO, maybe FLHook, that allows the server to kick someone who has not changed rooms/undocked in/from a station for 20 minutes to be kicked.

I like the idea, when i AM on the server i try and talk to someone and their afk, like most people are. its a good idea.
