PROBLEM SOLVED CAN BE CLOSED THANK YOU
Hi,
i am pretty new to the mod but have been quite active the last few weeks.
I think its great that Discovery 4.85 has gone gold:)
Wanted to log in today and have some fun but then i noticed that all my Characters (3) are gone :crazy:
Maybe an admin can help me solve this problem ?!
Maybe they were corrupted by the update?
Names were
Saois (IMG, Mining Ship, approx 3Million credits)
Osiris (Order, Nephthys, below 100000 credits)
Hohenzollern (Rheinland Police, Mjolnir, below 100000 credits)
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there!
One thing to check: Did you log on the right server? You'll have more than the official server in your list, if you log on a different one by accident, you won't see your chars, of course. I saw that happen to several people already.

Problem solved.
Well seems like Vista was the bugger who snatched all my Characters.
Running on non-admin account and DSUpdate now needs an administrator authentication to run so naturally (as i know now) there were no characters on my admin account.
Whats there to say about that ?
All is fine, W*ndows kicks a** as i cant remove the Admin Auth from DSUpdate and i now launch Freelancer from the normal EXE again.
