To compete in today's markets it is essential to have reliable to up to date information, this is especially true for Samura's trading vessels whom regularly ship goods out of Kusari. To ensure Samura is well informed, we have set up this communication hub for Samura traders, escorts, and business partners to issue reports. All Samura vessels are requested to report any findings and curiosities during their shipping. Samura Central Communications - Grizmar - 06-18-2009 *Incoming Transmission* Comm ID: Dispatch - Ito Taki Konnichiwa, friends and associates of Samura. Recently there has been quite an increase in smugglers shipping the drug known as "cardimine" through the Sigmas. This is of concern to us as not only are the Sigmas at Kusrai's door step, but are also very impotent systems in Samura's operations. Because of this we have created a new initiative to clean up these systems, specifically 17 and 19. We request that Samura traders report the names of any cardimine smugglers observed in the Sigmas so that a list of known offenders can be made. It is highly encouraged that Samura fighter vessels as well as associates of Samura take part in this effort to clean up the Sigmas by removing these drug peddlers from the Sigmas. Ito Taki *End Transmission* Samura Central Communications - farmerman - 07-03-2009 From: Kiyoshi Sato Location: The Kunashir, moored outside Planet Kurile *transmission begins* Konnichiwa, associates. Last night, the crew and I did a good deal of commercial activity. We began on Planet Holstein, where we stayed last time after the issue with the transponders. We headed to Solarius Station, in the desolate Omega-11 system, to acquire the diamonds needed in the Kyushu system. This was successful, if a bit depressing. Rheinland is very rocky and has nowhere near the beauty of home. We began to head back to Kusari, when we were intercepted by a strange ship. It was broadcasting an "LWB" IFF, which a crew member tells me is sort of like the Farmers Alliance of Kyushu if they lost their organization, Kusari manners, and ability to speak without adding extra consonants into words. The ship was broadcasting the name "Nurse Olga", but I'm not sure if this person was actually a nurse. Certainly not by Kusari standards of medicine! I was eventually able to convince her to let me with but a small bribe and the promise to send her complaint to human resources, which I did (and I'm sure they've since shredded). She claimed Daumann treats its miners poorly. That seems very unlike Kusari, where our employees have wonderful accommodations, of course. In any case, I was able to get away from her and her Hessian escorts. After that, I proceeded to the Kyushu system with the diamonds and picked up a load of our wonderful food from the planet, which I brought to feed the employees on Shinjuku. The crew and I stopped and had a wonderful dinner (Junyo fish and Kyushan rice go wonderfully together, of course). From there we sold some of our top of the line mining machinery to the miners in the Tau-31 system. Near the station by the Yamaguchi, we ran into a number of Kusari refugees from the war (they said they moved to the Taus primarily from Planet New Tokyo). Taking pity on their situation, I arranged their transport to Planet Kurile, where they are relocating and assisting the harvesting of alien organisms. I have the feeling these extra numbers will help productivity. The science team is checking the latest batch of organisms before we take them to Planet Junyo, which we will do shortly. *transmission ends* Samura Central Communications - farmerman - 07-04-2009 From: Kiyoshi Sato Location: The Kunashir, moored outside Planet Pittsburgh *transmission begins* Konnichiwa again, fellow employees. Earlier, the crew and I continued our business trip by taking those alien organisms to Planet Junyo for the food industry. It's really booming these days. Quite delicious as well. To that end, we took some of the food produced there to Planet Denver, in Liberty, to spread the wondrous taste of Junyo fish to those who can't produce such tasty food. From there, we loaded up on Superconductors and took them back to Yokohama, so that we might continue to produce our transports, which are, of course, the best in the colonies. After that, the Kunashir took some of our Engine Components to Baltimore Shipyard, in New York. We also had several pleasant meetings with an Ageira convoy. For Libertonians, they are good business partners. Unfortunately, we were assaulted by the so called "Xenos" in the Colorado system. They originally wanted to destroy our entire cargo (the fiends!), but merely stole half when they learned its destination. I considered telling them the truth of what they were, in dramatic fashion of course, but I figured it's hard to find such a good crew and didn't want them vaporized. After that, we headed toward Baltimore Shipyard, filed a report with Interspace Commerce in triplicate for the lost components, and then headed to Planet Pittsburgh, where we are currently moored. The cargo holds need cleaned and checked before we can continue, so I am filing this report and heading to my quarters. *transmission ends* Samura Central Communications - LoTeK_ - 08-05-2009 ...From: Hiroshi Yamamoto, ...Location: The Saigon Maru, refueling at Yokohama I am happy to report a full stock of newly produced Optronics has been delivered to Yokohama Shipyard few minutes ago. Merchandise quality was above average however the Kishiro shop dealer on Honshu was very interested in making me go away as soon as time would have allowed, maybe he didn't had breakfast already... Signed, Hiroshi Yamamoto Samura Central Communications - Markus_Janus - 10-26-2009 Project Hokkaido From: Okada Kazuya Location: Sapporo Station, Hokkaido Begin transmission...... I have been assigned to the Hokkaido system to further our assets in regards to the Nagano Gate and H-Fuel Mining operations. Sapporo station is doing rather well considering the circumstances. Although the target of numerous terrorist attacks we are making headway in the area of H-Fuel refining techniques. Increased patrols have helped to stem the tide of these attacks but more must be done. It is to this that I have been authorized to attract mercenaries and hired help to assist in the clean up of the system. Of course our usual associates have performed admirably as they always have and can also look forwards to greater rewards for their troubles. In regards to the Nagano Gate project, shipments of materials have been coming in under expectation. I am sure this has to do with the attacks by malcontents and other riff raff. So I shall be having meetings with the representatives of Ageira Technologies to remedy this situation. While I understand the dangers involved in this area of space, a contract has been signed and I do expect D.S.E to complete the project in a timely manner. Samura Central Communications - LoTeK_ - 10-27-2009 ...From: Hiroshi Yamamoto, ...Location: The Saigon Maru, refueling at Yokohama I am honored to report near 1500 units of Ship Hull Panels from Stokes has been delivered to Yokohama Shipyard few days ago. This delivery has been made possible by the valiant efforts and sacrifices of the Naval Forces vessels escorting the Saigon Maru. Saigon Maru engines stopped working correctly for several minutes after the departure from Stokes, probably due to a rare side effect of the lanes disruption. While my ship was disabled and we were busy with repairs, the Naval Forces engaged incoming Bretonia Armed Forces hostiles. Among the ambushing force there was a destroyer, the HMS-Manchester, destroyed by the IKN-Miyazato Sensei after an exchange of deadly volleys between titans. Also it appears there is traitor helping the enemy, I can't imagine citizens of this proud Kusari betraying and embracing weapons with the Bretonia Armed Forces against their same people. I realize that I have little power to make this happen but we have to do everything we can to bring him the traitor's death. I will keep an eye on his moves on my travels, providing as much intelligence as I can. When the Saigon Maru engines were working again I set the course for New Tokyo and the remaining Naval Forces vessels joined formation and escorted us home. Me and my crew wish to say: Arigato! From: Okada KazuyaLocation: Sapporo Station, Hokkaido Begin transmission...... Launching from Sapporo Station today I was asked to mediate a dispute with the captain of number 3 Gas Miner. It seems he was feeling under appreciated for the effort he put in and was requesting an increase in his salary. I sat down with the man an insisted that we are doing everything in our power to make his job both safe and fruitful. I also made him aware that although I was no authorized to affect change in his salary, I could authorize a relocation of his family on Planet New Tokyo to a better neighborhood. He seemed content with this and so we made plans to depart. Upon undocking from the station a wing off attack craft flew in from the west. Although they were met by Samura security, 2 vessels managed to break through the lines and made a move towards the station. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e77/Gold...a/screen234.jpg I engaged both vessels and although the situation looked dire, I received a communication from a KNF vessel flown by officer Hajime.Hiroito entering the area. He assured me he was on route and asked if I could keep the vessels busy till his arrival. This I did and eventually we were able to drive off the terrorists with no loss of craft or property damage. The vessels fled back into the nebula engaging some form of stealth system. I quickly turned my sensors on the stealth system to get comprehensive scans, although I am sure these will not shed too much light on the technology I have turned the information over to Samura R&D. With more scans this technology will come in very handy for our own uses. Samura Central Communications - Markus_Janus - 10-28-2009 From: Vessel Kobiyashi-Maru Location: Battleship Nagasaki, Seto Begin transmission...... Today I joined in a convoy the Samura|-Kouji and advanced Train that was taking Hull Panels to Oder Shipyard in New Berlin. Although he was half way through his run I was able to organize a shipment of Quantom Multiplexors to go to the same location. We had an uneventful trip to New Berlin and proceeded to take Military Vehicles to the Battleship Nagasaki in the Seto System. As Shinjaku Station had warned us of increased Outcast activity in Tau-29, we arranged an escort from a mercenary we saw in Kyushu System. It turned out to not be needed but we felt better having another vessel around none the less. The cargo was successfully delivered to help with the war effort and we will return to Kusari soon. |
