To whom it may concern,

we, the proud nation of Rheinland and its enforcers of law, are almost sick of the behaviour of a lot of your fellow Zoners. We stopped them breaking nearly every law we have regarding the transport of contraband, the trade embargo from and to Liberty, the contact with our officers and the general behaviour in Rheinland. One of them even tried to bribe me in exchange for his cargo bay full of toxic Cardamine. This behaviour is inacceptable!

We do know that we have rather strict laws, in comparison to other houses, but they exist for a reason and we won't wait to put them across with reasonable force.

Even your often avered neutrality does not excuse your current behaviour within our sovereign territory: Zoners hauling Military Vehicles near the Libertonian borderline is not what we call neutrality. You are lucky if we do not count this as an act of war after all. So I am appealing to your judiciousness and ask you to prevent your people from constantly breaking our laws.

Otherwise we can not guarantee for the Zoners free movement through Rheinland any more.

Concerning: Zoner Smugglers?

This is confirmation of Zoner Smugglers, our vessel has scanned, and caught Zoner ships smuggling illegal items through the Hamburg System, a clear violation of Rheinland Law and the Neutrality you Zoners seem to nolonger cherish.

I would suggest you reign in your members or we shall be having a major conflict of interests which will eventually lead to aggressive action against Zoner Vessels travelling in Rheinland.

On a personal note, i respect the Zoners and their wish to stay out of House buisness, however Zoners like Marcus Aurelius put your neutrality in great peril and may force the hand of Rheinland to either deny Zoners access to Rheinland Material and space for Trade or simple passage or hunt the offenders down with extreme prejudice.

So i ask of you to speak to your members about obeying House Laws while you are trading here and try not to step on our toes.

Thank you for your attention in this matter, safe flights to the Zoners and may Pirates never raid your holds.

I would like to remind all pilots that travel within Rheinland space, particularly Zoners, that you are not above the law and your vaunted neutrality will not gain you any leeway. Any ships caught violating Rheinland law within Rheinland or space that Rheinland has claims on will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, including fines, imprisonment, impounding of ships and execution.

Guten Tag, Gentlemen,

Your complaint is noted and will be forwarded to the Zoner Council. We understand your complaint but we do ask not to judge all Zoners for the actions of a few. If you do catch somebody, send us a camera shot so that we can deal with the offender. I for one don't want any tensions amongst our people.

Mr. Brunhild, we know we aren't above the law. Most of us do respect house laws and as a Council, we can't control a lot of the independent Zoners who are everywhere.

Sehr geehrter Herr Holliday,

you seem to get something wrong here. Neither are we responsible for the actions of your fellow Zoners, nor can we waste our time with providing the Zoner Council with proofs of every violation of Rheinland law a Zoner commited. Our storage servers have only a limited capacity, which is needed for more important things than law breaking Zoner vessels.

You are the ones who have to obey our laws when you stay in Rheinland or you will face the consequences. Our patience has been stressed already by repeating law violations and we do not want to stand this situation any longer.

The laws of our nation are known nearly everywhere in Sirius and can be accessed from every neural net link outside of our borders. Is it too much for you to read them and act properly? If not... tell your fellow pilots that they place themselves in a great danger when not acting like it is regulated by our laws.

Clarification regarding Zoners
In the event that you encounter a Zoner IFF'd and ID'd ship operating in Rheinland space that is carrying a cargo and/or otherwise contravening the law in Rheinland such that a bounty could be placed upon that ship due to the cargo and/or the actual operations, you are hereby authorized to proceed to collect the bounty as if this were any other lawbreaker. These independant ship captains appear to be operating under their own authority and do not have the blessings of the Zoner Council.
THIS IS NOT A BLANKET AUTHORIZATION TO SHOOT ALL ZONERS!
Rheinland Federal Police have a posted bounty on smugglers and other lawbreakers, albeit due to communications errors it is currently difficult to send them information. Please post all relevant information on the Bounty Hunters Guild (BHG|) private message channel until such time as the main comm channel is reopened. The Zoners have stated that these actions are those of independants - those independants shall therefore be the ones punished for their transgressions against house law.

  • Interspace Commerce hauling various supplies.
  • Orbital Spa and Cruise hauling legal Human Cargo.
We do not allow any transports to head from Rheinland to Liberty with cargo onboard, as it would be supplying the enemy.

Our faction condamns any Zoners who participate in illegal activity within any House. Additionally, no member of the Zoner Trading Consortium has participated in your stated occusations. We support Rheinland in persuing law-breakers and bringing them to justice, regardless of their faction or alignment.

On a personal note, I do want to point out that your message is somewhat offensive. Imagine if you took your own statement and replaced the word Zoner with "black people." You would get the following:

Zoners, like black people, are not a singular faction. We work together, we live together, and sure we have a Council, but we don't operate under a single governing body. Some Zoners could care less about what the Zoner Council dictates, for example. If you find someone breaking a law, arrest them or put up a bounty. The ZTC supports it.
