Thought of it as some kind of space cannon? First model, gonna try'n get better so I can actualy model some other stuff. Kudos to the person who taught me a thing or two but probaply doesn't want to be mentioned because of his skype chat number.

Good for the first model though, nice design elements in it that will serve you well.

Heh, fired up Max, did ya? I use trueSpace 7.61B8 for my modeling currently...boooooy when I get zBrush...
I agree though, it needs more definition as to what is the gun. Not bad for a first though...my first modelling experience involved a lot more poly-pushing and looked plain horrific.

i taught the nub how to do it, using the gallic platforms as an example model, eppy:Palso, answer yer skype, i got a bit of free time to do that 3ds tutoring thing.
